On Friday, President Joe Biden twice claimed that “350 million” people in the U.S. have been vaccinated, even though the Census Bureau estimates that as of August 6 the total U.S. population was approximately 332,600,000.

In comments addressing the latest economic report, Biden veered off topic to call for more people to get the coronavirus vaccine, saying that there being "roughly 350 million people vaccinated in the United States” is proof that the vaccines are safe:
