CNN goes entire week without reaching 1 million viewers

CNN continues to sink to new lows- and not only in journalistic ethics. 

According to Nielsen data, the scandal-plagued network has gone an entire week without reaching 1 million viewers from July 28 to August 3, further solidifying the liberal outlet's struggle to carry on without Donald Trump in the White House. 

Chris Cuomo, CNN's star anchor who was swept up in the explosive report from New York Attorney General Letitia James that outlined damning sexual harassment allegations against his brother Democratic Gov. Andrew Cuomo, received a minimal ratings bump on Tuesday night as viewers were curious as to whether or not he would address the controversy, receiving roughly 100,000 viewers more than he did Monday. Cuomo ultimately avoided the scandal altogether on his program, which garnered only 930,000 viewers.

I don't want to be sexist (oh why not ) , but aside from everything else - would you rather look at that face, or Sandra Smith or Martha McCallum? I don't watch any TV news anymore but things have really changed since the first Gulf War and CNN was the 'go to' place.

CNN suggested Chris Cuomo take a 'leave of absence' to advise brother Gov. Cuomo on sex pest probe in May, claims new report: Network faces calls to fire 'silent' and 'compromised' anchor for IGNORING the scandal on air

• Chris Cuomo did not address the AG report on his show on CNN last night
• He was named in the report as one of his brother's advisers and helped him draft statements in response to the allegations 
• Last year, he had his brother on the show repeatedly for the pair to gush over Andrew's pandemic response
• They laughed and joked - which sickened viewers including those whose relatives had died of COVID-19 in New York 
• CNN hasn't disciplined Chris for his lack of coverage on the AG report, or for his role in it 
• The network did not respond to calls to fire him on Wednesday and it hasn't commented on what many call his unprofessional coverage of his brother 
• Andrew was not seen in public on Wednesday, but issued a COVID statement. Protesters gathered outside the Executive Mansion demanding he resign
