Meet Ray Epps: The Fed-Protected Provocateur Who Appears To Have Led The Very First 1/6 Attack On The U.S. Capitol

In a House hearing on Thursday, Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY) questioned AG Merrick Garland about a mysterious man, Ray Epps, instructing protesters to enter the US Capitol building on January 5, and who later shepherded crowds towards the Capitol on January 6.:snip:

Biden FBI Joins Pelosi In Blocking GOP From Investigating January 6

The leading Republican tasked with his party’s investigation into the preparedness and response of the U.S. Capitol Police and other law enforcement agencies to the Capitol riot on January 6 is being blocked by President Joseph Biden’s FBI from gathering information, a new document reveals.

The FBI told Indiana Republican Rep. Jim Banks it would not provide Republicans the same information provided to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s hand-picked committee consisting only of Democrat-appointed members.:snip:

The Freak-Out Over Tucker’s January 6 Documentary Begins

The original narrative about January 6 is not to be disturbed, no matter how many facets of that original narrative have been shattered.

Tucker Carlson on Wednesday night played a brief trailer for his three-part documentary looking at the events of January 6. “Patriot Purge” will premiere on Fox Nation, the network’s streaming service, on November 1

Clips hint that the film compares the prosecution of Capitol protesters and anyone associated with the events of January 6 to the initial war on terror, a wholly legitimate comparison that my reporting confirms. For example, as I explained in April, Director of National Intelligence Avril Haines issued a report earlier this year warning “domestic violent extremists” pose a heightened threat to the nation. Not one for subtlety, Haines included a sketch of the U.S. Capitol in the document; House Republicans at the time blasted Haines for working outside her legal authority—the intelligence community is supposed to hunt foreign terrorists, not MAGA-supporting meemaws—to target American citizens.

Unfortunately, most Americans are unaware that the Biden regime, with a big assist from the news media, is indeed conducting a domestic war on terror aimed at the political Right.

Democrats do not want the public to hear the details of Ashli Babbitt’s shooting death at the hands of Capitol Police, or the likely role of the FBI in what happened that day, or how armed federal agents have raided Trump supporters’ homes at dawn, in front of their terrified children and horrified neighbors, and dragged out in handcuffs to face various trespassing misdemeanors.:snip:

ADL Urges Fox To Take 'Moral Responsibility' And Pull Tucker Carlson's Jan. 6 Doc[/b]

The Anti-Defamation League decried the "abject indisputable lie" of the "Patriot Purge" series.

Ron Dicker

10/29/21

The Anti-Defamation League on Thursday urged Fox Corp. boss Lachlan Murdoch to pull Fox News personality Tucker Carlson’s upcoming “Patriot Purge” series on the Jan. 6 Capitol attack, citing the company’s “moral responsibility.”

“I strongly urge you to reconsider airing this program. It has the potential to fuel misdirected anger and unrest,” Jonathan A. Greenblatt, the group’s CEO, wrote in a letter to Murdoch, who heads Fox Corp.

A heavily criticized trailer for the three-part series on the Fox Nation streaming network premiered Thursday, suggesting that the pro-Donald Trump mob’s attack on the Capitol to overturn the election was a “false flag.” The series begins streaming on Monday.

“Where is the line for you and Fox?” Greenblatt wrote to Murdoch. “How many more people need to die or how many individuals must subscribe to groundless conspiracies before you say enough is enough?”

The January 6 Insurrection Hoax

Notwithstanding all the hysterical rhetoric surrounding the events of January 6, 2021, two critical things stand out. The first is that what happened was much more hoax than insurrection. In fact, in my judgment, it wasn’t an insurrection at all.

An “insurrection,” as the dictionary will tell you, is a violent uprising against a government or other established authority. Unlike the violent riots that swept the country in the summer of 2020—riots that caused some $2 billion in property damage and claimed more than 20 lives—the January 6 protest at the Capitol lasted a few hours, caused minimal damage, and the only person directly killed was an unarmed female Trump supporter who was shot by a Capitol Hill Police officer. It was, as Tucker Carlson said shortly after the event, a political protest that “got out of hand.”

At the rally preceding the events in question, Donald Trump had suggested that people march to the Capitol “peacefully and patriotically”—these were his exact words—in order to make their voices heard. He did not incite a riot; he stirred up a crowd. Was that, given the circumstances, imprudent? Probably. Was it an effort to overthrow the government? Hardly.

I know this is not the narrative that we have all been instructed to parrot. Indeed, to listen to the establishment media and our political masters, the January 6 protest was a dire threat to the very fabric of our nation: the worst assault on “our democracy” since 9/11, since Pearl Harbor, since the Civil War! (Really: Joe Biden said last April that the January 6 protest at the Capitol was “the worst attack attack on our democracy since the Civil War.”):snip:

BREAKING: Former DEA official arrested in connection to January 6 says FBI informant urged him to break into Capitol building with mob

Mark Ibrahim claims that an FBI informant he reportedly knew while in the military invited him to Trump’s January 6 speech, and urged him to break into the Capitol building with the mob.

Hannah Nightingale

November 2, 2021

A Drug Enforcement Agency official that was fired from his post over his participation in the events at Capitol Hill on January 6 is alleging that an FBI informant urged him to break into the building with the rest of the mob.

Mark Ibrahim is facing up to 15 years in prison for his participation in the events that day, and told Carlson that he was invited to attend Donald Trump's Stop the Steal rally by an FBI informant he reportedly knew while in the military, according to the Daily Mail.

That informant then reportedly urged Ibrahim to join in with the mob who was breaking into the Capitol building, but Ibrahim refused.

The revelation came during Tuesday's episode of Tucker Carlson's docuseries, Patriot Purge, which looks into the events on January 6, and who may have been behind them.

Judge Orders Release Of January 6 Defendant After Inspection Shows ‘Mistreatment Of Detainees’

Following an impromptu inspection of the D.C. jail, a federal judge has ordered the release of January 6 defendant, Christopher Worrell, over the mistreatment of detainees.

The surprise inspection of the jail by U.S. Marshals took place last month, but the report from the inspection was not made public until Wednesday.

Due to the findings, U.S. District Judge Royce Lamberth said he has “‘zero confidence that the D.C. jail’ will provide the treatment correctly and not retaliate against Worrell,” who has cancer, CNN reported Wednesday.

Lamberth called the jail conditions “deplorable” and “beyond belief,” ordering Worrell transferred immediately to another jail and then released home to start cancer treatment, the report outlined.

Some 400 prisoners are being moved out of the jail after the “deplorable” conditions were uncovered. According to CNN, the Marshals’ report found that water was being shutoff in many cells “for punitive reasons” for days at a time, toilets were clogged, and an inmate who had been pepper-sprayed was “unable to wash the spray off for days, leading to an infection:snip:

Ten Months Later-The Washington Post finally reveals sketchy details on “pipe bombs.” Was it just another stunt to fuel panic and outrage about January 6?

Several storylines related to the events of January 6 have crumbled under closer scrutiny over the past 10 months: the “fire extinguisher” murder of Officer Brian Sicknick; the notion it was an “armed” insurrection and a grand “conspiracy” concocted by right-wing militias; claims that the building sustained $30 million in damages, and so on.

In the meantime, the Biden regime has attempted to cover up key aspects of that day, including the name of the officer who shot and killed Ashli Babbitt, which was only recently revealed. Justice Department lawyers continue to resist the release of 14,000 hours of surveillance video and the U.S. Capitol Police refuse to publish an 800-page internal investigation on officer misconduct as well as internal communications before and after the Capitol breach.

But a deep dive by the Washington Post, published last weekend, raises new questions about the alleged “pipe bombs” discovered just before Congress met on January 6 to certify the results of the 2020 Electoral College vote. Like so many supporting scenes, the veracity of the pipe bomb tale is in doubt after the Post revealed eyebrow-raising details about those involved.:snip:

Security camera footage posted by the FBI shows a man in a gray hoodie, wearing a face mask and gloves, carrying a backpack in the same vicinity between 7:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. on January 5. (Video and photographs posted by the agency, however, do not show the suspect actually placing devices near the buildings.)

Well at least he/she/ze/ was wearing A Mask. So they were not A Super Spreader.

What’s even crazier is, despite a $100,000 reward and the fact the FBI has used every invasive surveillance tool imaginable to locate Capitol trespassers including geofence warrants to track cell phone usage of January 6 protesters, the suspect has not been caught, or even identified.

How can this be? More than 650 Americans have been rounded up and arrested for minor crimes but the premier law enforcement agency in the land can’t find a guy who planted two bombs walking around Capitol Hill in plain sight?

And there is something about this that Surprises you? The whole story contradicts The Narrative. The Narrative states Jan. 6 was a bloody violent Insurrection, and an attack on Democracy itself. Planned & Orchestrated by cue the theme from jaws Donald OMB Trump. Anything else is Misinformation, and needs to be suppressed. Least people be lead astray from The True Faith.

Conspiracy Theory or Conspiracy In Fact?

Last week, Fox Nation aired “Patriot Purge,” Tucker Carlson’s three-part series on the January 6 protest in Washington, D.C. No sooner had the program been announced than the regime media went nuts. The former conservative Anne Applebaum, writing for The Atlantic, said it was a “sinister” piece of anti-American propaganda. NPR described it as an “off the rails” “conspiracy theory.” CNN said that it promulgated a “false narrative” that was “politically, historically and logically confused.” :snip:

Everyone Should Watch Tucker Carlson’s ‘Patriot Purge’

I saw Tucker Carlson’s Patriot Purge (all three parts) for free on RoxyTube yesterday along with 175 others. (That’s right only 175 people were watching it then.) There is a lot to recommend. Indeed, everyone should see it and determine for themselves if Tucker has raised relevant issues as to whether there was an “insurrection” on January 6 at the U.S. Capitol or not.

Most of you who read American Thinker know that Tucker set out to tell the truth. For reasons discussed below, he may not yet have the complete truth, but there are numerous markers he reveals that suggest what may have happened.:snip:

What Is an America that Holds Prisoners Indefinitely without Charging Them?

The U.S. is facing a serious constitutional crisis over the handling of the cases of defendants in the Jan. 6 so-called "insurrection" in Washington, D.C. to protest the presidential election modus operandi and the results.  Those being held for many months without a trial are being denied their habeas corpus rights under the U.S. Constitution and even dating back to English law hundreds of years before our Constitution was implemented.  Not only are they being incarcerated without having had a trial, but there is some evidence that they are being mistreated or are being held 23 hours a day in solitary confinement, which is a punishment accorded only the most dangerous criminals, such as serial killers and terrorists.

What are habeas corpus rights?  According to the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), "[h]abeas corpus is a fundamental right in the Constitution that protects against unlawful and indefinite imprisonment.  Translated from Latin it means 'show me the body.'  Habeas corpus has historically been an important instrument to safeguard individual freedom against arbitrary executive power."  A citizen must be charged and cannot be held indefinitely.  A charge requires a trial, and, if found guilty in a trial, there is a sentence for a specific amount of time.:snip:
