Another Partisan Stunt by the U.S. Capitol Police

Harry Dunn began his testimony last week before the January 6 select committee by asking for a moment of silence in honor of Brian Sicknick.

The U.S. Capitol police officer, testifying under oath, claimed his “fallen colleague . . . died from injuries he sustained in the line of duty defending the Capitol of our beloved democracy.” The committee members and the audience complied.

Dunn’s remark, quite simply, is a lie. Brain Sicknick, 42, died on January 7 of a stroke caused by blood clots near his brain, a tragic and untimely death that the District of Columbia medical examiner did not tie to the events of the previous day.:snip:

January 6 Witnesses Given Emmy Awards For Outstanding Performances

WASHINGTON, D.C.—All the witnesses who have testified before the January 6 Committee were given honorary Emmy awards this week for their outstanding performances pretending to cry for dramatic effect.

"Look at the way they are able to cry on command -- so realistic!" said one member of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences upon reviewing the tearful performances. "These folks have a bright career ahead of them. The Hallmark Channel is always looking for new talent, as they have about 6,000 Christmas movies to make before November."

"Keep an eye on these actors -- they're hot, hot, hot!"

I'm Still waiting for All the videos to be released.

Yet one more example of the divide in America.

It really has gotten to  the point where I no longer believe Corporate Media. If it comes down to Chuck Todd or Tim Pool, I know who I put more faith in.

Marjorie Taylor Greene letter to Capitol Police: Pelosi used you as ‘political pawns’

Escalating her war with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi over the one-sided investigation of the Jan. 6 pro-Trump riots at the Capitol, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene charged that the top Democrat used the U.S. Capitol Police as “political pawns” to target Republicans and smear former President Donald Trump.

From blocking reinforcements to help control the Jan. 6 crowd to having the police enforce new mask rules on House grounds, Greene said on Thursday that “I am concerned that USCP officers are being used as political pawns by Speaker Pelosi and other party leaders.”

In a sympathetic letter to Police Chief J. Thomas Manger, the Georgia Republican suggested that by denying requests for help in advance of Jan. 6, top Democrats got “precisely the ‘optics’ desired” and a riot that led to the second impeachment of Trump for “incitement of insurrection.”

The former president and top Republicans have denied that they urged Trump's followers to storm the Capitol on the day that his defeat was being confirmed. But the image of Trump supporters, some in Trump flag capes, overwhelming handfuls of Capitol Police officers helped to fuel the charge and subsequent investigations, including one led by Pelosi’s team.:snip:

Once Again!

We Republicans may have our faults, but if we were actually going to stage an insurrection, at least one of us would remember to bring a firearm.

Along the same lines, if we were to undertake an insurrection, we would not call on a “shaman” wearing horns and a fur hat to lead it.

Judge suggests feds are too lenient toward Jan. 6 defendants

A federal judge suggested Monday that federal prosecutors were being too lenient in their handling of cases stemming from the storming of the U.S. Capitol as lawmakers were convening on Jan. 6 to certify Joe Biden’s victory in the presidential race.

Beryl Howell, the chief judge of the federal court in Washington deluged with more than 550 prosecutions from the Capitol riot, raised questions about why some defendants were being permitted to resolve their criminal cases by pleading guilty to a misdemeanor and why the amount of money prosecutors are seeking to recover through those plea deals was based on a relatively paltry estimate of about $1.5 million in damages caused by the rioters.:snip:

But a short time later his defense attorney, Kira Anne West, added that there was no agreement with prosecutors that was Croy’s intent that day. In fact, West said, his client said he had “no intention of stopping any vote” and didn’t actually know that the Electoral College votes were scheduled to be tallied at the time the historic building was stormed.

Those claims didn’t appear to sit well with Howell.

“This is the puzzle for this petty offense charge. … It’s to parading, demonstrating or picketing. … That is typically for an end,” the judge said. “Demonstrating is typically about something. It’s parading about something.”

Howell then grilled the prosecutor handling the case, Clayton O’Connor, about why prosecutors hadn’t insisted that Croy admit as part of the plea that he was trying to block the electoral vote.

“Why isn’t that in the statement of offense?” the judge asked.

Why do I get the impression Beryl Howell, the chief judge of the federal court in Washington is not quite as neutral as a Judge is supposed to be?

And WE are called The Fascists.

The Justice Department’s ‘Troubling’ Discovery Delay

It’s been almost seven months since the FBI conducted a pre-dawn raid at the Virginia farm of Thomas and Sharon Caldwell. Dozens of armed agents broke down their front door, ransacked their home, and arrested Tom Caldwell on January 19. A week later, a grand jury indicted Caldwell and two other alleged Oath Keepers for various crimes related to their participation in the Capitol protest on January 6.

Despite the fact Caldwell never entered the building, carried no weapon, and assaulted no one, the Justice Department sought to keep the 66-year-old former Navy lieutenant with service-related disabilities in jail awaiting trial. Caldwell, a decorated military veteran, has no criminal record.

Nonetheless, on February 12, Judge Amit Mehta ordered Caldwell to remain behind bars: “What Mr. Caldwell is accused of is conspiring with others to plot an insurrection against the government of the United States, particularly the Congress of the United States, while it was attempting to certify the Electoral College vote,” Mehta said during Caldwell’s detention hearing. :snip:

Questions About Feds’ Involvement in January 6 Demand Answers

Our system of government is built on trust. It is our duty to safeguard that trust. :snip:

You might want to look up Cointelpro. There were groups back then where 80%(?) of the members were FBI informants. When Cointelpro was exposed many large "Anti-war" groups fell apart because everyone, including some of the leadership worked for the FBI.

People have to understand This is one of the things the FBI does. Get people on the inside of a group, gather intelligence/evidence of any crimes. This is a legitimate tactic, (see the FBI's war against the KKK and the American Mafia). The problem comes when the tactic becomes self-fulfilling. ie We need to look into this group to see if they are involved in criminal/*subversive activity. Its a Very short step from that to, Let's see if we can get them to do something  criminal or*subversive. Careers have been made on this. Yet one more reason to cast a  jaundice eye on this tactic, particularly when it comes to Political Groups/Dissent.

(* define subversive?)

THE NARRATIVE MUST BE OBEYED!

On January 6th, 2021 a protest turned into violent assault on the Capitol Building in Washington, D.C. On that day our work began.

We are a global community of open-source intelligence investigators (OSINT) working together to assist the U.S. FBI and Washington D.C. Capitol Police to find those who committed crimes on January 6 at the Capitol.

  • We investigate publicly available videos and photographs to find additional information about individuals who are wanted by the FBI and/or Capitol police.
  • We create “Do You Know” posters and composites and ask the public to share them on social media platforms including but not limited to Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and YouTube.

A Life Destroyed for ‘Parading’ at the Capitol

After Robert Reeder was arrested in February and charged with four misdemeanors for his involvement in the Capitol protest on January 6, he lost his job as a truck driver for FedEx. “As a result of his arrest in this matter, he has been placed on administrative leave/has been terminated,” Reeder’s attorney wrote in court filing. “He has not been able to secure steady employment since being charged in this matter.”

Reeder, like many Americans who attended Donald Trump’s speech then walked to Capitol Hill, went alone. He is a registered Democrat but supported some of Trump’s policies. The Maryland resident decided to travel to Washington on the morning of January 6, a “spur of the moment” decision, according to his attorney.

After suffering the effects of tear gas and sting balls launched by police officers outside the building—a reality the news media still refuses to cover—Reeder went inside the building to look for water to rinse his eyes. From all accounts, he was allowed into the building. While inside, Reeder marveled at the beauty of the Capitol and urged others “do not destroy anything.” He asked police how he could get out of the building as the situation between law enforcement and protesters escalated.:snip:

FBI Finds ‘Scant Evidence’ That January 6 Riot Was ‘Result Of Organized Plot To Overturn’ Election: Reuters

The FBI has reportedly found little evidence that the Capitol riot on January 6, 2021, was part of an organized plot to overturn the results of the election.

Reuters reported Friday morning that multiple law enforcement officials have told them that despite hundreds of arrests made by the FBI, “the FBI at this point believes the violence was not centrally coordinated by far-right groups or prominent supporters of then-President Donald Trump, according to the sources, who have been either directly involved in or briefed regularly on the wide-ranging investigations.”

“FBI investigators did find that cells of protesters, including followers of the far-right Oath Keepers and Proud Boys groups, had aimed to break into the Capitol,” the report added. “But they found no evidence that the groups had serious plans about what to do if they made it inside, the sources said.”

A former senior law enforcement official told Reuters that that 90-95% of the cases that the DOJ is prosecuting are “one-off cases.” “Then you have five percent, maybe, of these militia groups that were more closely organized,” the former official said. “But there was no grand scheme with Roger Stone and Alex Jones and all of these people to storm the Capitol and take hostages.”

The FBI has reportedly not found any evidence that former President Donald Trump or anyone his direct orbit were involved in planning the riot.
