Bill Cosby's sexual assault conviction vacated by Pennsylvania Supreme Court

The Pennsylvania Supreme Court has vacated the sentence of comedian and actor Bill Cosby on Wednesday.

The court's ruling will allow the 83-year-old to leave prison a free man. The court found that he had an agreement with a previous prosecutor that prevented him from being charged in the case.

Lawyer representing Cosby accusers: 'He is not released because he is innocent'

An attorney representing three of Bill Cosby’s accusers objected to the Wednesday decision from a Pennsylvania appeals court that set him free over a previous agreement he made with a former district attorney.

"He is not released because he is innocent," Lisa Bloom tweeted. "He is released because a prosecutor promised him years ago that he would not be brought to justice, without even making a deal for him to do time."
