Alex Nitzberg May 3, 2021 - 4:43pm In Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell said on Monday that he does not expect any Republican colleagues to support President Biden's multi-trillion dollar spending proposals. The Kentucky Republican said he does not believe any of his GOP colleagues will back "the $4.1 trillion dollar grab bag, which has infrastructure in it, but a whole lot of other stuff." President Biden has proposed both the American Jobs Plan as well as the American Families plan. Some Senate Republicans have put forward a proposal focused strictly on infrastructure.
