Geee Posted January 20, 2021 Share Posted January 20, 2021 Real Clear Politics Harvard Law Professor Emeritus Alan Dershowitz said that the Senate does not have the authority to convict President Trump for articles of impeachment after the end of his term in office, during a conversation on Maria Bartiromo's "Sunday Morning Futures" on FOX News. "If you can impeach anyone who is not a sitting president, there are no limits to the power of the Congress to try ordinary citizens," Dershowitz said. "It is plainly unconstitutional."
