Straka was notified on Friday that his account was disabled. Facebook admins emailed him, informing him that his page has been removed for purportedly violating the social media platform's Terms of Use.

"A Facebook Page is a distinct presence used solely for business or promotional purposes. Among other things, Pages that are hateful, threatening, or obscene are not allowed," the Facebook Team sent, asserting that the pages are taken down that "attack an individual or group" or that are set up by an "unauthorized individual."

Pages that are axed for any of the aforementioned reasons will not be reinstated. "Continued misuse of Facebook's features could result in the permanent loss of your account," the notification read.

Conservatives Face Social Media PURGE, Walk Away And Journalist BANNED, Left DEMANDS Trump Be Banned. Brandon Straka of the Walk Away campaign was banned from Facebook as was Elijah Schaffer of The Blaze TV.

Democrats and leftist activists are demanding that big tech purge anyone who was involved in encouraging what happened at the Capitol but more importantly they want to remove Trump permanently.

In a story from the NYT it seems Twitter and Facebook are preparing a permanent ban of Donald Trump.

Biden has slammed the events in no uncertain terms and announced new security measures to address insurrection.

Parler Down After Trump Banned on Twitter: Site Crashes with Timeouts

Jan.8 2021

An alternative social media site, Parler, crashed after President Donald Trump’s account was suspended from Twitter, and by around 8 p.m. Eastern it was back online for many users, but some still were reporting issues by around 8:30 p.m., including issues loading the app. This isn’t the first time Parler crashed, and the site has shown similar networking timeout errors in the past when there was a large influx of users at one time. The site has been a favored go-to for Trump supporters and came under scrutiny after the U.S. Capitol riots. Here’s what we know so far about what happened.

The App Went Down After Trump Was Banned from Twitter

Shortly after Twitter announced that it was permanently suspending Trump’s account, users on Parler reported that the social media site was down.

Reddit bans r/DonaldTrump forum

Rebecca Klar

01/08/21 04:19 PM EST

Reddit is banning the forum called r/DonaldTrump after repeated violations regarding posts about the Wednesday riot at the Capitol, a spokesperson for the website said Friday.

The r/DonaldTrump page was not officially hosted by President Trump, but it was a community dedicated to supporting him.

Additionally, Reddit said, in accordance with its site-wide policies that prohibit content that promotes hate or incites violence, the platform has “been proactively reaching out to moderators to remind them of our policies and to offer support or resources as needed.”

The tech monopolies have sprung into action

On Friday, although President Trump is still President of the United States, Twitter officially and permanently banned him from the site. The other media sites were not far behind. Indeed, they’re systematically banning anyone associated with Trump’s contention that there was election fraud. Moreover, they’re doing so by erasing Trump’s actual words in order to present him as a vicious agitator. They’re also erasing the more than half a million peaceful supporters in D.C. to focus only on a small cohort.

On Wednesday, more than half a million peaceful people showed up in D.C. to support President Trump. A minute percentage of that group ended up in the Capitol and the police killed an unarmed Air Force veteran. (Defund the Police has been silent about this killing.) Debate will rage about whether Trump supporters were set up. For the purposes of this post, the only thing that matters is that it was the justification the tech monopolies needed to start a purge.

The tech companies contend that Trump instigated violence and his supporters can no longer be trusted. And no, it doesn’t matter that for much of 2020, Black Lives Matter and Antifa rioted, burned, looted, and threatened, beat, and murdered people. Not only did they stay on social media, but they were also lionized on social media and mainstream media for their thrilling, empowering exploits.:snip:

MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT On Social Media Censorship

President Donald Trump tweeted from the official @POTUS account following his permanent ban from Twitter, condemning the company’s censorship and signaling that he intends to move to a new social network, or build a replacement. The tweets promptly disappeared from the account.

The message from the President briefly appeared on the @POTUS account before disappearing. It is not clear if Trump or another person with access to the account deleted the posts, or if Twitter did so itself.:snip:

Trump Campaign Banned From EMAILING Supporters After Being Suspended By Mail Service Provider

The Trump campaign is now blocked from emailing their millions of supporters after being suspended by their email service provider.

The suspension comes shortly after President Donald Trump and his campaign were permanently banned from Twitter.

The email service, Campaign Monitor, confirmed the suspension of the account to Financial Times’ Dave Lee.

The Nationalist Review reports “the move effectively cuts off communication between his team and his core supporters. What is not clear however, is what other services have banned his team. The Trump campaign sends out a massive amount of emails—33 in January so far. But, it has been 48 hours since the campaign has reached out to its supporters via email, prompting most journalists to speculate that other providers have shut off access as well.”:snip:

Liberal Reporter: 'The New...Authoritarian Liberal-left...Is Going to be Absolutely Ruthless'

Liberal reporter Michael Tracey probably saw this event coming from miles away. Months ago, he probably predicted it. Actually, he did—sort of. He said that Twitter’s glorifying violence protocol is arbitrary and can never be fairly enforced. This was the first wave of the social media giant censoring tweets from the president during the Minneapolis riots. Last night, Twitter finally followed through on something they’ve probably have been waiting to do for months: ban Donald Trump. After flagging and censoring his tweets, the storming of the Capitol Building was probably the last straw. Trump is done on Twitter.

Yet, Tracey is not popping champagne. If this company can do this to Trump, they can do it to anyone. For those who are cheering this, you have no leg to stand on when these tech giants start coming after you. Give it time. It’ll happen. Tracey went on a lengthy series of tweets calling out liberals for celebrating this event, while also warning of an increasingly authoritarian future to come.:snip:

There are two things that those on the left don't seem able to grasp which make it certain they will never be "pure" enough to avoid they're own eventual erasure:

1. The line is always moving as to what is/is not acceptable in the eyes of the "woke".

2. There's no way to stay ahead of the line.  Social media is forever and what you posted yesterday will still be out there when it becomes grounds for being cancelled.

One of the things I have always said. Never say/do anything you wouldn't do at high noon in the town square.

And if you did....

Apologizing for something you did when you were younger does no good. IMO the best answer is to tell them go BLEEP yourself. Of course this requires having a spine (or another part of the anatomy, and a large tumbler of Don't Give A Damn. The only reason they keep doing it is it keeps working. When it doesn't work anymore they'll stop.

People need to take a lesson of Jesse Ventura. When asked about smoking grass, he answered Oh Hell Yes!.
