I was remembering Bush vs Gore going to the SCOTUS to win Florida, but I don't remember the process much. There must have been appeals to the higher courts to get to the Supremes. Hard to find much "funny" at the moment, RU, but many are informative. In Bush v. Gore, it ended up in the SCOTUS twice.
