The director of the Bureau of Elections for Butler Country has reported that the United States Postal Service has just lost an unknown quantity of mail-in ballots.

Butler County is just north of the city of Pittsburgh PA. The director got in touch with county commissioners earlier on Wednesday to inform them that many ballots had not arrived on schedule to their destinations.

According to CBS Pittsburgh, federal postal officials have launched an investigation to try and determine the cause of the failure of the ballets to arrive on time.

This is one in a string of similar scandals involving missing or stolen mail-in ballots, involving the USPS and its employees. Recent statistics indicate glaring deficiencies in many areas of the country in terms of the USPS's commitment to get mail to its destination on time. Many of these incidents are still not satisfactorily explained to this day.
