The Bidens Got Into the Hospital Business and People Died

The old slogan, "The Best of Care" can still be found on Ellwood City Medical Center's old promotional materials. When the pandemic began, the old rural Rust Belt country where President Trump beat Hillary Clinton could have used a hospital. Any hospital.

There was even talk of reopening the defunct hospital again to treat coronavirus patients.

But, like so much in Pennsylvania, the Ellwood City Medical Center never recovered from the Democrats. The FBI raided it in January and the hospital lost its license next month. Not that it mattered at that point because the hospital had already been shut down since December.

Despite that, the hospital managed to score $1.8 million in coronavirus relief funds.:snip:

Media Titans Are Misleading The Public About The Biden Scandal

After big tech companies suppressed a New York Post article exposing written evidence that Joe Biden “spent some time together” with a top executive of a corrupt Ukrainian energy firm that was enriching his son, media titans are misleading the public about the central facts of this explosive affair.

Twitter, for a prime example, pinned a post to the top of its home page claiming that Biden “played no role in pressuring Ukraine officials into firing the prosecutor” at the core of this case.

That is flatly disproven by the words of Biden himself, who stated on video that he told Ukraine’s president and its prime minister that he would withhold $1 billion in U.S. aid from their nation unless they removed the prosecutor. “If the prosecutor is not fired,” warned Biden, “you’re not getting the money.” Biden then added, “Well, son of a bitch, he got fired.”

Twitter’s brazen falsehood only scratches the surface of media misinformation about this matter. In addition to spreading outright fictions, media outlets are failing to present key verified facts that are necessary to see the big picture. These facts — which are documented in the following bullet points — build upon each other and implicate Joe Biden in a web of corruption that involves bribery, extortion, and obstruction of justice:

  • In April 2014, while Joe Biden was vice president, he traveled to Ukraine and promised its parliament that the U.S. would help the nation increase its fossil fuel production to make it less dependent on Russian energy. In that same month:

Just saying.

About That ‘Uncoverable’ Biden Story

David Harsanyi

October 28, 2020

Journalists claim they can’t cover the New York Post’s Hunter Biden email scoop because the underlying evidence has yet to been verified. Also, they won’t look for any verifying evidence because there isn’t enough evidence.

It’s quite the conundrum.

Because other than the now-corroborated emails, the laptop, the on-the-record source who was a CEO of a Biden corporation, a trove of text messages and documents, and a lack of denials, the Hunter Biden email story reminds me of the “Russian collusion” story. Surely it deserves a modicum of scrutiny and follow-up.

Anyone who watched Tony Bobulinski’s interview on Tucker Carlson’s show this week — apparently it pulled over 5 million viewers —...(Snip)

BOOM: Hunter's 'Smoking Gun' Email Implicating Joe Biden Just BLEW UP

The Daily Caller News Foundation reports that a cybersecurity expert has authenticated the email that implicates then-Vice President Joe Biden in his son’s shady business dealings in Ukraine.

Rudy Giuliani, a former New York mayor and former federal prosecutor, gave the DCNF a copy of the contents of Hunter Biden’s laptop. The news website then gave the founder of Errata Security, Robert Graham, a copy of the so-called “smoking gun” email and all the metadata associated with it. Errata is the same company used by The Washington Post, Wired, and other publications.

The April 17, 2015, email between Hunter Biden and an advisor to Burisma, Vadym Pozharskiy, verified that Joe Biden had personal knowledge of his son’s business dealings with the Burisma advisor. This contradicted Biden’s protestations on the campaign trail. At the time, the then-vice president was Obama’s “point man” on Ukraine. The email thanked Hunter Biden for the personal meeting with his dad and getting to spend “some time together.”

“Dear Hunter, thank you for inviting me to DC and giving an opportunity to meet your father and spent some time together. It’s really an honor and pleasure.”:snip:

Bobulinski against the machine

Scott Johnson

Oct. 5 2022

Going back to the New York Post’s suppressed Hunter Biden laptop coverage of October 2020, Miranda Devine has been the essential reporter on the underlying story told by former Biden family business partner Tony Bobulinski. Devine is also the author of the related book Laptop From Hell. She previewed the Bobulinski interview in her column “Hunter Biden defrauded me, Jim Biden called me during FBI interview, former biz partner says.” Today Devine follows up in “Ex-Hunter business partner Tony Bobulinski takes on the Biden machine.”

Devine usefully breaks the story down with red bullet points that I can’t replicate:

(Snip)

The coverup goes back to the FBI’s role in the suppression of the story in October 2020. FBI whistleblowers wait in the wings: “Now he says he realizes, through whistleblowers who have come forward to Republican members of Congress, that the FBI buried his damning disclosures about the Biden family, and feels that the four-year investigation into Hunter Biden by the US attorney in Delaware, David Weiss, is dragging out indefinitely.”

Devine concludes her column today with this observation:

Hunter Heading for the Hoosegow?

Steven Hatward

Oct 6 2022

The Washington Post is out this afternoon with news that “federal agents” have sufficient evidence to charge Hunter Biden with “tax crimes” and making false statements related to a gun purchase.

There are some telltale oddities to the story. It describes the source or sources as “people familiar with the situation.” People? What kind of people? The story does not specify whether these “familiar people” are with the FBI, IRS, ATF, or other federal agency. It merely says “investigators with multiple agencies. . . who spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss an ongoing case.” Looks as though the Post reporters don’t want to risk a specific agency source becoming the target of a leak investigation. Or that the leaking source demanded this vague identification.

Given the practice of the Justice Department never to bring charges on politically sensitive cases within 90 days of an election so as to avoid allegations of partisanship, it is doubtful we will see any official announcement as a result of this story. So why did someone want to leak this out now? Perhaps someone in the FBI or Justice Department is concerned with the plummeting public respect for these agencies, and thinks it would be useful to show that they aren’t partisan. Or it is also possible that someone in the FBI or Justice doesn’t want the Hunter Biden investigation swept under the rug, even though the investigation is being supervised (supposedly) by the U.S. Attorney in Delaware, David C. Weiss, who is a holdover Trump appointee.

From WaPo story

Agents determined months ago they had assembled a viable criminal case against the younger Biden. But it is ultimately up to prosecutors at the Justice Department, not agents, to decide whether to file charges in cases where prosecutors believe the evidence is strong enough to lead to a likely conviction at trial.

Months  Ago? MONTHS AGO? :wallbash:

Hunter To Be Prosecuted? Ho Hum

John Hinderaker

October 6, 2022

As Steve noted earlier, federal law enforcement officials have leaked to the Washington Post that they think they have enough evidence to indict Hunter Biden. This is The Hill’s version of the story:

(Snip)

This is rich:

Quote

Chris Clark, an attorney for Hunter Biden, suggested in a statement to The Hill that if a federal agent leaked information about the investigation, they had committed a federal felony.

Now there is a law I would like to see enforced! It would be deeply ironic if we finally saw a crackdown on Justice Department leaks in Hunter Biden’s case.

In any event, forgive me if I fail to celebrate whatever indictment of Hunter may be forthcoming. The real story here is that Joe Biden is a corrupt politician who sold his influence as vice president to foreign powers. The fact that Hunter failed to pay taxes on his share of the swag is an almost irrelevant detail. It would be much like prosecuting Al Capone for tax evasion–only not Al, but rather his son.

(Snip)

I have been complaining for a long time that the conventional focus on Hunter’s venality misses the point. I will say it one more time: no one has ever bribed Hunter Biden. Prosecuting Hunter would put a capstone on a misguided failure to tell the real story.

So if and when an indictment comes down, I won’t be cheering it.

FBI has 'voluminous evidence' of Hunter Biden's 'potential criminal conduct': Whistleblowers

Jerry Dunleavy, Justice Department Reporter

October 17, 2022

EXCLUSIVE — The FBI is in possession of “voluminous evidence” of “potential criminal conduct” by President Joe Biden’s son Hunter Biden related to his overseas business dealings with China and Ukraine, according to new whistleblower disclosures.

(Snip)

Hunter Biden struck a $1 million legal retainer agreement with Ho following his arrest. The president's son referred to Ho as the "f***ing spy chief of China" in a recording dated May 11, 2018.

“The FBI has within its possession a different document, dated in October 2020, but referencing events that occurred years before. That document indicates that in May 2017 — approximately three months after the joint venture was hatched in Miami and the same month it was officially formed — Hunter Biden yelled at CEFC officials at a meeting for failing to fund the joint venture," Grassley wrote. "That same document notes that as of July 2017 the money still had not been transferred and James Biden considered calling CEFC officials and threatening to withdraw Biden family support from future deals.”

Grassley has said in floor speeches and financial reports that CEFC Infrastructure Investment wired $5 million to bank accounts for Hudson West III in August 2017, with the money then transferred to Hunter Biden’s firm, Owasco, and James Biden’s firm, Lion Hall Group.

(Snip)

Ukrainian oligarch and Burisma owner Mykola Zlochevsky is widely seen as corrupt and had $23 million frozen by British authorities in the time between the hiring of Hunter and his business associate Devon Archer.

“The FBI has within its possession a series of documents relating to information on Mykola Zlochevsky, the owner of Burisma, and his business and financial associations with Hunter Biden,” Grassley wrote in his new letter. “The documents in the FBI’s possession include specific details with respect to conversations by non-government individuals relevant to potential criminal conduct by Hunter Biden.”

(Snip)

Grassley concluded his letter by attacking the FBI's handling of the investigation into the president's son.

[*“It is unclear whether the FBI followed normal investigative procedure to determine the truth and accuracy of the information or shut down investigative activity based on improper disinformation claims in advance of the 2020 election. … It is also unclear whether U.S. Attorney Weiss has performed his own due diligence," he wrote.

Grassley’s latest revelations follow other whistleblower disclosures the senator made public this summer.

Timothy Thibault, the former FBI assistant special agent in charge of the Washington Field Office who left the bureau in late August, “ordered closed” an “avenue of additional derogatory Hunter Biden reporting” in October 2020, even though “all of the reporting was either verified or verifiable via criminal search warrants." FBI supervisory intelligence analyst Brian Auten also "opened an assessment, which was used by an FBI headquarters team to improperly discredit negative Hunter Biden information as disinformation and caused investigative activity to cease."

The senator says the criminal investigation into Hunter Biden may now be hobbled because of these actions.
