Through brand names like "comprehensive sex education" and one of its parent programs, "Social-Emotional Learning (SEL)," our government schools have been turned into Groomer Schools, and parents are beginning to notice. What many will not understand, however, is that this isn't just a fluke of our weird and increasingly degenerate times. It is, in fact, a long-purposed Marxist project reaching back into the early 20th century. In this episode of the New Discourses Podcast, join James Lindsay as he explains the long history of the sexual grooming that has come into our schools through Critical Gender Theory and Queer Theory as they have crept into educational programs. If you want an explanation for how sexually explicit materials, gender ideology, pornography, and strippers have made their way into our government schools, including for young children, this is a must-hear.

Nov. 24 20211

In the previous episode of the New Discourses Podcast (https://youtu.be/tDEP0JGW3c8), James Lindsay revealed the long history of the problem of Groomer Schools, and horrible as it is, it barely communicates just how bad things really are. In this follow-up episode, Lindsay reads through an academic paper at the intersection of early childhood education and Queer Theory, two subjects that should never be mixed. The 2019 paper is called "Queer futurity and childhood innocence: Beyond the injury of development" by Hannah Dyer of Carleton University, Canada. In this episode of the podcast, James reads through this paper in full, offering his usual level of commentary and revealing just how insidious and dangerous the agenda in the public schools is (Critical Race Theory is, honestly, among the least of our problems, if you can believe it). Join him and prepare to be appalled at what the Critical Marxists who have taken over our education system have in mind for our children.

Dec. 27 2022

More and more people are waking up every day to the fact that our schools have become an undeniable catastrophe, and they're starting to realize alongside that fact that it isn't an accident. It is purposed. It is intentional. It is a strategy, and it uses our children as pawns for achieving a nightmarish agenda, no matter how much damage it does to them to achieve it. In this Groomer Schools series on the New Discourses Podcast, James Lindsay has already walked you through (in Part 1: https://youtu.be/tDEP0JGW3c8) the long Communist Party strategy to use sex education in schools to destabilize society and sever ties between generations and just how specifically grotesque this grooming sexual agenda is (in Part 2: https://youtu.be/-OQL1Jja3p4). Here, in the third part of the series, Lindsay puts these two pieces together, explains their purpose, and illustrates how Critical Race Theory works alongside Queer Theory (grooming) for a blatantly Maoist purpose: to create an American Red Guard meant to overthrow our society and start all over from a new Year Zero. Join him to understand the evil Maoist tactics being employed in our schools to turn our children into Revolutionaries for the purpose of undermining America and the West.

Without Notifying Parents, New Jersey Middle School Forces Students To Learn About Transgender Hormone Therapy

As part of a social studies class, a New Jersey public middle school forced students to watch a video about a transgender man's hormone treatment—all without notifying parents.

The video, "Ten Years on Testosterone," details the transition of LGBT activist Aydian Dowling through hormone injections. Teachers and administrators at Pearl R. Miller Middle School in Kinnelon, N.J., did not notify parents about the lesson, which included slideshows with definitions of different gender ideologies, beforehand.:snip:

‘Scary for the Legal Profession’: Georgetown Upends Traditional Law School Lessons in New Woke Curriculum

At most law schools, the first few weeks of property law are spent on foundational cases of British common law. At Georgetown University, they are spent on structural racism and cultural appropriation.

Students in professor Madhavi Sunder's mandatory first-year course learn on day one that the history of American property law is "the history of dispossession and appropriation," according to videos of the course reviewed by the Washington Free Beacon. Lecture slides from the first month of coursework trace the "birth" of modern property law not to English courts, but to "Native dispossession and the enslavement of African Americans." "Possession," one slide asserts, "is a legal term of art for a settler capitalist society."

These legacies of oppression "continue in contemporary doctrines" of property, Sunder said on the first day of class this semester. For example, her slides explain, "Intellectual Property has a cultural appropriation problem," especially when it comes to black choreographers: Their dance moves were allegedly appropriated by the popular video game Fortnite, and by white influencers on TikTok.

To help her students conceptualize the problem, Sunder quotes the "antiracist" author Ijeoma Oluo, who defines cultural appropriation as the "adoption or exploitation of another culture by a more dominant culture." Students are then asked to apply this definition to intellectual property law, according to the slides.

Sunder wasn't just putting her own spin on a stereotypically dry class; she was also laying the groundwork for a sweeping transformation of the law school curriculum.:snip:

University Puts Freshmen Through Its 'Equity' Orientation, Schools Them on 'Whitesplaining'

:snip:Case in point: a recently-launched program at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities.

As described online, the social justice-seeking Gopher Equity Project serves as a “diversity, equity and inclusion online educational module for new students as they begin their UMN career.”

Its purpose: to “improve campus climate for all students.”

“Take the Training,” the school advises undergraduates.

Students are told to “take part in creating an inclusive campus and learn skills to navigate a diverse campus and society.”

Freshmen “will have follow-up conversations in their first-year college courses.”

They’ll be educated on oppression:

The online training guides you through concepts about equity, power, privilege, oppression, and identity and is important to creating a foundation of equity and inclusion on our campus.

The About page provides quotes praising the program:

“As a PWI [predominantly white institution] there are many students who don’t learn about any of this in their high schools, because diversity is such a big topic at U of M it allows the freshman to be ready for the conversation.”

“Students coming to the U are from a wide range of backgrounds and are about to experience a very unique climate full of diverse perspectives. I feel it is essential for the U to offer an introduction to DEI through this module.”:snip:

University's 'SEXXX' Week Welcomes Hookers to Discuss Legalization, Raffles off Cylindrical Supplements

The concept of pride has exceptionally evolved. Once deemed a deadly sin, it’s now something sensationally celebrated. And sometimes, celebrations get sexy.

Such was the case recently at the University of Florida: Its Pride Student Union (UFPSU) hosted a series of “SEXXX Events.”

Attendees of the March 21-25 sexfest were bound to have a blast — the Union gave away sex toys.

From its now-deleted Instagram post:

In honor of this week’s Sexxx Events, we will be raffling off sex toys on social media every day this week and at each event. We will post a picture of the sex toys being raffled off each day and how to enter your name.

Pictured in the post:

  • Packs of latex condoms
  • A “female condom”
  • A box with the words “Comfy Mate” on it
  • A hot pink object in the shape of a skyscraper

Who forked over funds for all the frolicking? Concerning the above salacious supplements, UFPSU schooled Campus Reform:

“The Sex Toys were donated to us through an ongoing partnership the Pride Student Union has with the University of Florida Student Health Care Center [SHCC] which is an office under the [University of Florida Health]. The donation is equivalent to around $300.”:snip:

Public Schools Are Cesspools of Debauchery. Get Your Kids Out Now, Before It's Too Late.

If there’s one thing we’ve learned during the pandemic it’s that many parents had no idea what was going on in their kids’ schools. Oh, parents knew there was crazy stuff going on in other schools, but by and large, there was a sense of NIMBY — it’s not happening in my backyard. Sadly, we’ve become increasingly aware of the abuses and indoctrination children across the country are suffering at the hands of unhinged teachers — teachers pushing their left-wing political agendas, encouraging children to be sexual deviants, and treating parents like they are not qualified to raise their own children without the state intervening in their families.:snip:

Woke white Stanford academic is branded 'Professor Karen' for threatening to call police on black Berkelely professor who opposed her plans to dumb-down the school's math curriculum to boost 'equity'

A white Stanford educator has been nicknamed 'Professor Karen' after carrying out a protracted battle with a black computer science professor at UC Berkeley over a proposal to change the school's math curriculum.

Jo Boaler, 58, a lecturer in education at Stanford, first drew the ire of Jelani Nelson for her support of a new recommended math program in California's schools.

The controversial suggestions, which would have lowered the rigorousness of the state's curriculum in an attempt to increase 'equity,' have made some angry because in part they 'question the concept of student giftedness.':snip:

Teachers in Ohio school district told to combat curricula 'rooted in whiteness'

A teacher training program for an Ohio school district provided instructions for pursuing racial justice in the classroom while using a curriculum that may be "rooted in whiteness."

The training program for teachers in Mentor Public Schools in Mentor, Ohio, was created by the teacher professional development company BetterLesson and included numerous instructions for teachers on how to teach their classes through a lens of race.

The program, which was obtained by the parent activist organization Parents Defending Education, instructs teachers on being "co-conspirators," which the training says are people "whose actions combat racism through direct challenge to or subversion of racist structures and institutions."

The training program also instructs teachers on being "anti-racist," a term popularized by Boston University professor and controversial author Ibram X. Kendi.

The term anti-racist has its roots in critical race theory, which says American institutions and culture are systemically racist and oppressive to racial minorities. To combat this systemic racism, individuals must be anti-racist and actively work to subvert systemically racist institutions, much like the program's definition of "co-conspirator":snip:

University Orders Professors to 'Decolonize' Math, Think Twice Before Citing 'White or Male’ Mathematicians

Is STEM rife with racism? Is math marred by misogyny? It seems there’s a good chance, judging by a policy at Durham University.

As part of the UK college’s “decolonization,” math professors are being asked to check themselves before they wreKKK themselves.

As reported by The Telegraph, a guide directs thusly:

Decolonizing the mathematical curriculum means considering the cultural origins of the mathematical concepts, focusses, and notation we most commonly use.

From the outlet:

Scholars…have been urged to reconsider how “the power of 10, represented by the word ‘billion,’ differs from country to country” and how Brahmagupta, the famed Indian mathematician, assigned a different meaning to the value of zero.

Instructors are informed that “the question of whether we have allowed Western mathematicians to dominate in our discipline is no less relevant than whether we have allowed Western authors to dominate the field of literature.”

“It may even be more important,” the manual makes clear, “if only because mathematics is rather more central to the advancement of science than is literature.”:snip:

ETHNIC STUDIES WA School District Launched an 'Ethnic Studies' Program Teaching Students to Resist 'Systems of Oppression'

The Northshore School District in Washington state launched an ethnic studies program early last year in which an Ethnic Studies Pilot Work Team was offered materials to learn about "transformative ethnic studies in schools that will aid in the development of an Ethnic Studies Framework."

According to a slide presentation from October, the purpose of ethnic studies is "to transform student lives by promoting healing from historical trauma, humanizing and empowering all students, and promoting civic and community engagement through action in solidarity with others."

"Ethnic Studies pedagogy promotes collaboration in learning, higher level thinking and critical analysis of racism and other forms of oppression," the slide continues. "Ethnic Studies further provides students with the opportunity to understand themselves and their intersectionality in relation to society.":snip:

Critical Pedagogy

Social Justice Usage

Source: Gottesman, Isaac. The Critical Turn in Education: From Marxist Critique to Poststructuralist Feminism to Critical Theories of Race. Routledge, 2016, p. 90.

Instead of radical pedagogy, a term largely associated with the economic reductionism that he critiqued, Giroux sought to develop a critical pedagogy, an approach to education that, on the one hand, rooted itself in the critical Marxist tradition’s conception of the power of human agency and in its theoretical analysis of ideology and culture, and on the other hand, embraced, counter to the position of many in the Marxist tradition, the possibility of social reform and the realization of democratic socialism through complete engagement with the liberal public sphere and thus the institutions, including the modes of production, of the liberal nation-state. For Giroux, critical pedagogy was not a project committed to revolutionary Marxism, an intellectual and political tradition that deeply influenced Freire’s Pedagogy of the Oppressed; rather, critical pedagogy was a project committed to socialism through radical reform.

Who Wants Old-School Ed? State University Seeks a 'Director of Social Justice Education'

Northern Illinois University is trying to right the wrongs in education. Therefore, it’s created an ultra-woke position.

Per a job posting, the school seeks a Director of Social Justice Education.

According to the ad, NIU is excessively enlightened:

Diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging are defining characteristics at NIU. … Defined broadly at NIU, our growing diversity is one of our greatest strengths.

Yet:

While we are proud of our diverse Huskie community, we know it is not enough to simply be diverse.

Were you “uplifted” by your school? Future Huskies will be:

We will continue to be vigilant in our efforts to ensure all Huskies feel welcome, included, valued, and their voices are uplifted.

And NIU’s going to accomplish racial justice:

Our commitment, plans and progress for how Huskies are working together for racial and social justice, equity and inclusion are reflected in our mission, vision and values and our annual University Goals.

In addition to other duties, the director will “apply restorative justice practices such as peace circles, racial healing facilitation, and meditation to promote holistic diversity education in collaboration with Student Affairs and Student Conduct for student education.”:snip:

Boston Colleges Hosted a Debate for All Students Except White Ones — but Whites Could Judge Them

n Massachusetts, they’ve segregated intellectual competition.

Last semester, Boston College and Northeastern University co-hosted the American Parliamentary Debate Association’s “inaugural BIPOC tournament.”

That is to say, the schools held a debate open to all people but white ones.

More specifically, per a promotional email obtained by Campus Reform, it was an issue of identity.

From the Chicago Debate Society:

We are opening bids for the APDA BIPOC tournament this coming weekend, October 22-23. This tournament is held once annually and is open to all BIPOC debaters (for the purposes of this tournament, BIPOC is defined as anyone who does not identify as white).:snip:

You wanted PROOF of INDOCTRINATION in schoolbooks, Dem media? Well HERE IT IS straight from Florida’s DOE!

Ever since Gov. Ron DeSantis and Florida Republicans began fighting back against the Woke indoctrination of children, the so-called mainstream media has been at war with the state. Few things outside of Donald Trump himself so perfectly show the left’s utter control of the media narrative and the total in the tank for Democrats reporting by supposed press.

And those outlets and their Democrat allies have been pitching hissy fits galore about the rejection of woke Math textbooks, demanding to see what was so bad about.

Well guess what? Here you go. Straight from Florida’s Department of Education.

Based on the volume of requests the Department has received for examples of problematic elements of the recently reviewed instructional materials, the following are examples provided to the department by the public and presented no conflict in sharing them. These examples do not represent an exhaustive list of input received by the Department. The Department is continuing to give publishers the opportunity to remediate all deficiencies identified during the review to ensure the broadest selection of high quality instructional materials are available to the school districts and Florida’s students.

These are the samples:

Here’s one where students are literally doing a graph on how Republicans are racist.
