University Orders Adherence to Preferred Pronouns and Made-Up Monikers, Threatens 'Action' Regardless of 'Intent'

"Even so, don’t mistakenly think your motives matter; for those in violation of Point Park’s policy, “action could be taken“:

While the University recognizes the aspect of intent versus impact, we must recognize that regardless of the intent, if an individual is impacted in a harmful way, action could be taken if a complaint is filed. We ask all members of the community to be mindful of each other and respect each other. As a resource, please see the Pronouns and Inclusive Language Guide created by a former Equity and Inclusion student."

Ya know IF somebody wanted to, if they had a warped sense of humor, they Could make Pittsburgh’s Point Park University's Office of Equity and Inclusion's life a living Hell.

All that would be required is getting a small group of like minded people and Flood the Office of Equity and Inclusion, with complaint, and DARE to them to not investigate and take action. What did Saul Alinsky say? Make Them Live Up To There own Rules.

Show Me The Rules, I Can Play The Game.

Public Schools Are Broken - This Student Got a 0.13 GPA yet Graduated Near the Top Half of His Class

Jake Bequette

September 21, 2021

As the new school year began across the country, a disturbing realization also set in: Despite last year’s disruptions for millions of students nationwide, the devastating impacts of school closures and virtual schooling are not just a relic of the past.

The Biden administration and self-interested teachers unions want to make them a cornerstone of the future, with no way out for parents and students looking for a change.

In communities across the country, failing grades have skyrocketed and mental health has suffered as many schools remained closed for much of the past year and a half.

In Baltimore alone, 41 percent of high school students averaged less than a 1.0 GPA during the 2020-2021 school year.

In one public school in the city, a high school student was ranked near the top half of his class with a 0.13 GPA. All of this happened despite the fact that the district spent $18,000 per student, 40 percent more than the national average.

Tragically, these disturbing statistics are not isolated; they’re snapshots into a system that is failing students nationwide. Every data point represents a student who is missing an opportunity to succeed and not reaching their full potential.

Activists are concerned that Minnesota’s Richfield Public Schools district uses a sexual education program that asks straight students to role play homosexual relationships and teaches kids about anal sex.

Questions about the efficacy of this program were raised by members of the Child Protection League who spoke at a Richfield School Board meeting Monday.

Alpha News also reached out to the district for comment. “Each year, content is introduced that is age-appropriate,” a district spokesperson said, before restating nearly word for word what Pollis said in the meeting.

Pollis also noted that the district’s use of 3Rs “is not new, it’s been in place for a number of years,” and that “parents are provided opt-out information … in advance … no student is required to participate.”

Alpha News obtained a copy of the form that is sent to parents, giving them the option to exempt their child from 3Rs education.

Major University Launches Racial Justice Center, Funds Nonwhite Initiatives and Offers 'Masterclass in Activism'

For aspiring activists, an upper Midwestern college has something supreme in store.

As announced on the University of Michigan’s website, the Gerald R. Ford School of Public Policy has launched a Center for Racial Justice.

Per the page, U of M hopes it will “challenge [the college] to live up to [its] democratic ideals and offer sound policy prescriptions for a more equitable and just society.”

The establishment eyes four goals.

  • Inform research agendas, policy debate, and potential policy solutions
  • Create an innovation space at the intersections of activism, artistry, research, and public policy, with a focus on advancing racial equity

It’s all about equity:

  • Support bold, courageous, and ambitious projects targeting racial inequity and intersectional injustice, led by some of the most important changemakers of our time:snip:

Southward, the University of North Carolina hosts a graduate program in “antiracism.”

And Southern Illinois University-Carbondale boasts a doctoral program in diversity, equity and inclusion.

Social justice is sweeping campuses nationwide.

In August, University of Kentucky hired the Center for Healing Racial Trauma.

The company pocketed thousands of dollars and encouraged faculty to “replace white supremacy
with the more accurate white inferiority complex language and know it organizes most systems in the USA.”

At what point will people say ENOUGH! You want to teach racism? Fine, do it on your own dime.

Professor removed after refusal to grade black students on a curve sues UCLA

lecturer removed from the classroom after refusing to grade on a racial curve is now suing UCLA and his dean for costing him at least $500,000 in consulting contracts in just the past year — and an estimated $10 million long term:snip:

When a white student used the same form letter to pressure Klein, he responded with snark, asking how he should grade half-black students or even identify races in the online class. Screenshots of the email quickly went viral.

While Klein faced investigation for his email mocking color-conscious grading, the UC Board of Regents didn't respond to his complaints about specific colleagues giving out "high, unearned grades" in response to the student activist campaign, he said.

Why I Am Suing UCLA

I refused to discriminate against my students. Then the problems began.

Gordon Klein

Sept. 30 2021

Recently, I was suspended from my job for refusing to treat my black students as lesser than their non-black peers.

Let me back up: I teach at UCLA’s Anderson School of Management, and I’ve been doing this for 40 years. I’ve taught 15 different courses, in finance, accounting and law. CNBC has had me on; I’ve been quoted in The Wall Street Journal.

:snip:

As reported by DefendingEd.org, an anonymous teacher has provided information concerning the Tumwater School District’s schooling of teachers.

Hence, apply the word “alleged” to all of the below.

The source claims those overseeing young skulls of mush were shown a Privilege Pie chart.

Participants colored what applied to them.

Points of privilege were thus:

  • White
  • 18-64
  • No Disability
  • U.S.-Born
  • Heterosexual
  • Christian
  • Upper/Middle Class

Woke vs. Bloke: An Elite All-Boys School Will Allegedly No Longer Call Them 'Boys'

A New York school has assertedly upped its enlightenment.

According to former Fox News and NBC host Megyn Kelly, her son’s former alma mater has reached an elite level of modernity whereupon the term “boy” can no longer be used — even though it’s an all-boys school.

As I covered last November, the media mogul and her husband pulled their kids from an Upper West Side private institution.

At the time, she didn’t reveal which school.

Even so, as relayed by the New York Post, it may not have been a difficult riddle to solve:

Kelly didn’t identify her sons’ school on the podcast. But she recently spoke about the COVID-19 death of her son’s music teacher, Don Sorel — who taught at the Collegiate School, a $55,900-a-year, K-12, all-boys school just off Riverside Boulevard between West 61st and 62nd streets.

Now another riddle arises: What do you call a boy if he’s a boy at an all-boys school?

Evidently, the answer isn’t obvious.

While speaking on her eponymous Sirius XM show Tuesday, Megyn shared an account with guest Victor Davis Hanson.:snip:

America’s Top 25 Private Schools Are Pushing ‘Anti-Racism,’ ‘Equity’ Initiatives

A website that tracks critical race theory (CRT) in K-12 schools and higher education institutions released a study Monday that shows CRT, “equity,” and other initiatives are being pushed at the U.S.’ top 25 elite private schools, according to a database compiled by CriticalRace.org

Some of the schools “have embraced CRT explicitly, while others have a continuum of programming, such as ‘antiracism,’ ‘equity,’ and ‘Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion’ that does not easily fit into a Yes/No construct,” according to the CriticalRace.org database. The database found that seven of the 25 schools has a mandatory form of anti-racism training, while 20 of the 25 schools had some type of anti-racism, CRT or diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) requirement.:snip:

Colleges Learning Costly Woke Math in the Courtroom School of Hard Knocks

As they reel from revenue losses connected to the pandemic, many colleges and universities are racking up other costs not likely to turn up in their glossy brochures or as line items on staggering tuition bills: untold millions of dollars in legal fees and settlements for allegedly violating the rights of students, professors, and applicants on free speech, admissions and other matters as the schools pursue social justice causes.

Harvard University’s legal costs fighting a continuing 2017 challenge to its racial admissions practices have surpassed $25 million, the cap of its primary insurer, and it is now suing a secondary legal insurer, the Zurich American Insurance Company, over its refusal to pick up the tab going forward.

The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill had spent more than $16.8 million by the end of 2018, and its costs have only grown as it, like Harvard, continues defending admissions policies allegedly favoring blacks and Hispanics over whites and Asians.

Challenges to alleged free-speech violations, which have plagued universities for decades, continue to grow with a heightened grievance culture.

The University of California San Diego in 2019 paid nearly $1 million after a four-year court fight over its  move to defund student media because of a school newspaper piece satirizing “safe spaces.”   :snip:

Leaked Docs: Prestigious DC School Poised To Crack Down on ‘Harmful’ Humor

Students at one of the oldest and most prestigious boys schools in the United States could soon face expulsion for a single "misplaced" joke, according to a draft "anti-bias" policy circulating among school administrators and obtained by the Washington Free Beacon.

St. Albans, whose alumni include vice presidents and two current U.S. senators, is considering a crackdown on "harmful" speech that prioritizes the impact of the speech rather than the intent of the speaker.:snip:

College Eyes Teaching Math and Science Through the Prism of Colonialism and White Supremacy

:snip:

That mathematical maze could, the plan posits, “situate race, white supremacy, colonialism, power, and privilege centrally and attend to them throughout the course.”

Furthermore, the Fix reports, “STEM majors could satisfy the advanced requirement by taking “Math 233: Mathematics for Social Justice.”

To be clear, a math class must include the following:

Understanding how mathematical methods can expose racial and other injustices, and the role of mathematics as a gatekeeper and driver of injustice.

As for English, the plan proffers transforming English 113 (Theory of Narrative) or English 241 (U.S. Fiction).

Currently, those cover “Hawthorne, Howells, James, Wharton, Jewett, and Chesnutt, to more recent writing from James Baldwin, Don DeLillo, Toni Morrison, Donald Barthelme, Sherman Alexie, and David Foster Wallace.”

To meet the requisite racial review, the classes could implement “methodologies of close reading that decenter white western European models.”

As for science, a biology course must offer “the context of a genetics course to understand the social construction of race, and the fact that there is nothing biological supporting these hierarchies and historical injustices.”:snip:
