"Mothers are to blame for everything": a life free of children

The Times OnLine

Regensburg (AP) - Verena Brunschweiger is a teacher, 38 years old and does not want children. She is making headlines at the moment because she has written a book about it.

In "Kinderfrei instead of childless" she breaks a lance for a life free of children - and justifies that especially with the climate protection. "Child-free women need to be freed from their bad reputation," she says.

The main argument of her «manifesto», as she subtitled the book: children are bad for the environment, the CO2 balance. Many people in Germany would not even know "what a burden it will have on the climate if we produce so many new people," she says in an interview with the German Press Agency in Regensburg.

Her conclusion: the fewer children, the better. A pretty misanthropic approach. Consequently, she prefaced her work with a quote from Friedrich Nietzsche: "A new child: oh how much new dirt was born! The earth is superfluous, the life through the many-to-many is ruined.

@ZerlinaMaxwell
: The Iowa caucus is essentially the perfect example of systemic racism. 91% of the voters in Iowa are white. The reason why you see a drop in turnout, I’m just speculating here, it could be perhaps that white children are not in the cages.

Feminist prof who practices occult calls for human extinction to save planet

Patricia MacCormack argues for ‘phasing out reproduction’ as the only solution to ‘climate change’

February 10, 2020 (LifeSiteNews) – On January 23, 2020, Bloomsbury Academic published a call to action for all those who care about “climate change.” The Ahuman Manifesto: Activism for the End of the Anthropocene by Patricia MacCormack, a professor of continental philosophy at Angelia Ruskin University, cuts to the chase and advocates for the ultimate solution to global warming: The end of the human race. For MacCormack, “Extinction Rebellion” has a whole different meaning.

MacCormack admits to being an “occultist magician.” She has actually given lectures—often in a get-up that is either supposed to be emulating a witch and bearing an eerie resemblance to the costumes we see frequently at Drag Queen Storytime—on the “invocation” or “convocation” of demons, which she says is an important feminist or queer practice. Invoking demons, she says, is not entirely risk-free, because “madness is as likely as ecstasy.” She says all of this entirely unironically.

MacCormack is not the sort of weak-kneed climate activist who believes that we should save the planet for our children. In fact, she doesn’t think there should be any children.

Liberals and the media (but I repeat. . .) who wonder why the “fake news” label has stuck so hard might just want to have a look at how CNN (who else?) reported the supposed finding that 38 percent of Americans won’t buy Corona beer because they associate the name with the coronavirus. Reason points out:

Quote

Most Americans are smart enough to tell the difference. What the survey actually says is that only four percent of beer-drinkers wouldn’t buy Corona because of the outbreak. The 38 percent figure reported by CNN is the number of people who say they wouldn’t buy Corona for any reason.
