Bush. Actually it was Reagan who appointed him. For two years Robert Mueller's been trying to nail somebody for lying under oath and it looks like he's finally got his man. Tory Party peacock Boris Johnson, with his wild blonde hair, his bombastic personality and his nationalistic views took over as Prime Minister. It's causing House Democrats in America to experience suicidal thoughts. Not only is Trump NOT getting impeached, he's multiplying. Congress adjourned and Members left Washington to go on their annual six-week August recess and Capitol Hill will be deserted until Labor Day. It's sad. C-SPAN aired a live shot of the empty House Committee Chamber last night, and Robert Mueller was STILL sitting there. Robert Mueller's testimony failed to connect Trump to Russia during the 2016 campaign. It has tested the Democrats unshakeable faith in collusion. Throughout 2016, Democrats said Trump doesn't know anything, and when he finally says that he didn't know anything, they don't believe him. Minnesota Congresswoman Ilhan Omar went on TV and urged viewers not to trust white men. She's accused of marrying her brother for citizenship, and voters in her home district are mortified. Cousins who marry each other in West Virginia now look down on Minnesotans as trash. Ilhan Omar took a plane home, was driven by car to an air-conditioned studio, went on TV and told the country not to trust white men, forgetting that without white men, the plane, the car, the air conditioning, the TV and the country would never have been invented. What you'd have is Somalia. Billboard reports that the Southern rock group Confederate Railroad has lost two gigs this year because of the Confederate flag on the group's logo. I just have one question for all the people who'd erase Southern culture in order to declare their virtue. How many of them drive Volkswagens? Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez met with Nancy Pelosi in a peace parley between the two Democrats. The Speaker realizes the mercurial young congresswoman must be handled with kid gloves.
