Draggingtree
Save Room From Drink.Well, in Austin. December 2016 By David Alan At Austin’s Drink.Well, there is a flip on the winter drink menu that is aptly named Save Room; flips are by their nature a bit filling, and they usually fall into the dessert category. Created by bartender John Enriquez, it starts with VSOP cognac as its base, which is sweetened with orgeat, the French-style almond cordial, and ancho chile and coffee liqueurs. It is a drink well worth scheduling time, and saving room, for. 1 whole egg1 1/2 ounces Remy Martin VSOP Cognac1/2 ounce orgeat1/2 ounce St. George NOLA Coffee Liqueur1/4 ounce Ancho Reyes chile liqueur Dry-shake ingredients (without ice). Add ice and shake vigorously to emulsify. Pour through a fine-mesh strainer into a snifter. Garnish with a pinch of cinnamon and chile powder. http://www.texasmonthly.com/food/save-room/
