Valin
Power Line: John Hinderaker October 7, 2016 Wikileaks has finally released some of the anti-Hillary Clinton material it has been promising, in the form of emails from the account of campaign chairman John Podesta. I haven’t had time to read many of them, but Drudge highlighted an email from campaign research director Tony Carrk that quoted potentially damaging excerpts from Hillary’s speeches to Goldman Sachs and the like. To me, the most striking thing about the speech excerpts is how pedestrian they are. Like the speech I panned here, these excerpts contain no spark of originality or intelligence. If she was really getting paid $300,000 for this mush, it was highway robbery. I don’t think there is much here for the Trump campaign to work with, with one possible exception. It comes from a speech to a Brazilian bank: My dream is a hemispheric common market, with open trade and open borders, some time in the future with energy that is as green and sustainable as we can get it, powering growth and opportunity for every person in the hemisphere.
