Charges dismissed against Planned Parenthood investigato

David Daleiden has been dismissed of all charges he was facing for infiltrating a Planned Parenthood clinic under a false identity and secretly taping employees.

 

Prosecutors with the Harris County District Attorney's office in Texas dismissed the charges Tuesday morning. Daleiden and a colleague, Sandra Merritt, were charged with tampering with a governmental record by using fake identification to gain access to Planned Parenthood's facility in Houston.

 

Last year, Daleiden released a series of videos showing how some Planned Parenthood clinics supplied aborted fetal tissue to biomedical companies. Planned Parenthood has since sued him for posing as a fake tissue buyer to obtain the undercover footage.

Using a fake ID to buy alcohol seems hardly comparable to faking medical credentials with the intent of slandering a nonprofit organization. I think felony charges are perfectly justifiable in the latter case. I can't believe these people are getting off scot free

No one argues that they faked medical credentials, but what is your definition of slander? The videos show dialogue between PP employees and someone posing as a buyer of fetal tissue.

Do you mean the PP employees were not actual PP employees?
Or do you mean that someone dubbed over the actual dialogue?
Or what else do you mean?

I have actually seen some of the videos, so I would be interested to know what you're talking about.
