Draggingtree
The New York Times: The Clinton Contamination Maureen Dowd JULY 9, 2016 WASHINGTON — IT says a lot about our relationship with Hillary Clinton that she seems well on her way to becoming Madam President because she’s not getting indicted. If she were still at the State Department, she could be getting fired for being, as the F.B.I. director told Congress, “extremely careless” with top-secret information. Instead, she’s on a glide path to a big promotion. And that’s the corkscrew way things go with the Clintons, who are staying true to their reputation as the Tom and Daisy Buchanan of American politics. Their vast carelessness drags down everyone around them, but they persevere, and even thrive. In a mere 11 days, arrogant, selfish actions by the Clintons contaminated three of the purest brands in Washington — Barack Obama, James Comey and Loretta Lynch — and jeopardized the futures of Hillary’s most loyal aides. It’s quaint, looking back at her appointment as secretary of state, how Obama tried to get Hillary without the shadiness. (Which is what we all want, of course.) The president and his aides attempted to keep a rein on Clinton’s State Department — refusing to let her bring in her hit man, Sidney Blumenthal (lets throw a little cover for Obama, Maureen)
Draggingtree
July 10, 2016 I Have A Dream [OregonMuse] According to Rush, pretty much the only way to restore law and order is if Trump gets elected: And I'll tell you this. When Obama is gone, when he's no longer in the White House, and particularly if the Republicans win the White House, if it's Trump, you watch how quickly our laws once again revert to their former status and importance. The media and the Democrats will easily hold Donald Trump accountable to the law for his agenda and do everything they can to stop it, everything they can to railroad it, everything they can to torpedo it. I'm old enough to remember the Democrats' attempt to derail the nomination of Clarence Thomas to the Supreme Court. In order to accomplish this, the far left set forth the feminist theory in regards to what exactly constituted sexual harassment and how to deal with it. As a moral structure, it was as absolute, as rigid, and as unforgiving as any set of religious commandments. The standard that came out from the hearings is this: not even the barest hint of a whisper of a gossamer thread of ANYTHING http://ace.mu.nu/archives/364637.php
