Accuracy in Media: Huffington Post Singles Out Four-Star Admiral for Ridicule

Washington, D.C. – The Huffington Post has once again exposed the liberal media’s willful ignorance and its consistent spin, absent the facts.

 

Its senior political editor, Sam Stein, dedicated an August 18 column to snipe at esteemed Citizens’ Commission on Benghazi member and former Commander-in-Chief of the U.S. Pacific Fleet Admiral James “Ace” Lyons.

 

Stein dismissed Admiral Lyons as someone who “peddles dark conspiracy theories” because this retired four-star Admiral believes the Muslim Brotherhood has infiltrated the U.S. government. He also insulted Admiral Lyons’ weighty record operating at the pinnacle of government by calling his selection by AIPAC to join those publicly opposing the Iran deal as “peculiar” since Admiral Lyons supposedly “hasn’t operated at the heights of political power.”
