Valin
Washington Times: Dave Boyer Monday, August 24, 2015 While weighing a bid for the Democratic presidential nomination in 2016, Vice President Joseph R. Biden has tapped a new communications director who was the spokeswoman for John Edwards’ presidential campaign in 2008. Kate Bedingfield, who most recently served as vice president of communications for the Motion Picture Association of America, will replace Shailagh Murray, who left the vice president’s office in March to work as a senior adviser to President Obama. “She will be a key adviser to me, a terrific asset to our office, and an important member of the entire White House organization,” Mr. Biden said in a statement Monday. The appointment comes as Mr. Biden weighs a presidential run, although he has not announced a decision. He’s expected to decide within a few weeks.
