A Houston man charged with capital murder in the death of six children and two adults will remain in jail without bail, a judge ruled Monday.

 

Dressed in the yellow jail uniform of a high-profile inmate, David Ray Conley, 48, did not speak as state District Judge Vanessa Velasquez heard the allegations behind three capital murder charges at his arraignment.

VICTIMS IN MASS KILLING IN NORTHWEST HARRIS COUNTY IDENTIFIED

HOUSTON (KTRK) --

New information was provided by the Harris County Sheriff's Office

David Conley, 48, is in custody, charged with capital murder following the deaths of 2 adults and 6 children.

According to the Associated Press, in the arrest affidavit, Conley said he had discovered on Saturday morning that the locks had been changed at the house on Falling Oaks at Veterans Memorial after he'd moved out. He then entered the home through an unlocked window and restrained with handcuffs, shot and killed the eight people.
