"It looked like something out of a horror movie," Assistant Harris County District Attorney Sarah Mickelson told the jury of seven men and five women. "There was so much blood, the police officer thought Stefan had been shot in the face." Draggingtree Posted April 8, 2014 Author Share Posted April 8, 2014 Jurors find woman guilty in stiletto-stabbing case By Brian Rogers | April 8, 2014 | Updated: April 8, 2014 3:16pm After deliberating less than two hours Tuesday, jurors rejected Ana Trujillo's claims of self-defense and convicted her of murder in the stiletto heel stabbing of her boyfriend last year. The trial will continue to the punishment phase in state District Judge Brock Thomas' court, where Trujillo faces a maximum sentence of life in prison. Earlier Tuesday, defense lawyers for Trujillo, 45, tried to convince jurors she was a victim of domestic violence who had to use deadly force. "What would you do if someone suffocates you?" attorney Jack Carroll said during closing arguments.
