Valin
Real Clear Video: http://youtu.be/T0WwlAzu73E 2/21/14 LT. COL. RALPH PETERS: Senator McCain is absolutely right on this specific issue, there is no question about it. Our president is not only naive, he appears willfully naive. And on some profound psychological level, he seems to be really afraid of Vladimir Putin because he has let Putin run all over us on Iran, Syria, Snowden, the dreadfully one-sided START deal. And I'm starting to wonder if there is some crazy agreement between these guys, and I am not a conspiracy theorist. But at any rate, the signal that Obama -- his reluctance to say anything of meaning, anything forceful about the freedom struggle in Ukraine sends a message to Vladimir Putin that we, the United States, still regard Ukraine as falling in Russia's sphere of influence. pollyannaish
No kidding! Something is really weird right now. We are completely absent from the world stage for all intents and purposes. No statements, no help, nothing. There is a sickening feeling that this guy, for all his sturm und drang and pompous declarations , is a frightened, Incompetant little man contolling the Wizard pulleys in Oz. Scared of his own shadow and terrified of being discovered. We are in increasing trouble. Chaos reigns.
