Valin
Ricochet: Jim Lakely 12/21/13 If you missed The Five Friday, you missed an EPIC rant by the great Greg Gutfeld. His segment was about New York City banning the use of electronic cigarettes in public places this week Nurse Bloombergs last hurrah before ceding the mayors office to an even more dedicated leftist. Why ban e-cigs, which deliver nicotine to the user and results in the harmless exhale of water vapor? Because it looks like one isreally smoking cigarettes and that would send a bad message to anyone who happens to observe it. Seriously. Thats the mayors and city councils justificaiton. That fact sent Gutfeld off the edge, prompting what is undoubtedly a righteous and hilarious Top 5 Greatest Rant from a master of the genre. Gutfeld is angry, and rightly so, because vaping electronic cigarettes is harmless to anyone around them. There is no second-hand smoke, only second-hand water vapor. As Gutfeld says, if you want to ban e-cigs, then bad tea pots! http://youtu.be/hhpKtyEAevg Leave Me Alone.

Twenty-five Minnesota cities and counties have implemented restrictions on e-cigarette sampling or public use to conform with existing prohibitions on tobacco smoking, a Watchdog Minnesota survey found. GAINING POPULARITY: Electronic cigarettes are gaining in popularity, so local governments are moving to restrict their use. Proposed e-cigarette restrictions remain in the works in Edina, St. Peter and at the University of Minnesota. * Could a statewide law be next?
