Along with national outrage over a North Texas teenager's probation for a drunk-driving accident that left four people dead and nine injured, relatives of the victims have been filing civil lawsuits against the young driver, his parents and his father's company.

The first lawsuit, filed Sept. 6 in Tarrant County's 96th State District Court, was filed by Maria Lemus and Sergio Molina on behalf of their son Sergio E. Molina, who was riding in the bed of Couch's truck and was critically injured in the crash.

Named as defendants in the suit are Cleburne Metal Works (doing business as Cleburne Sheet Metal), Ethan Couch and his parents.
