@Rheo

Absolutely sickening scrolling through that list.

This has to be planned by the Progs.....setting up a complete screw-up like Oblundercare.....based on funding by young people that either haven't moved out of the 'rents basement....aren't 26.....or will never buy insurance because they have no sense of their own mortality.

Just a big "income redistribution" scheme to pull money out of Americans pockets & reduce everyone to the same impoverished class of peasants. The big "Middle Impoverished Class" that sits on the bottom economic strata & waits for pieces of bread from the enlightened elitist politico whack-jobs.

From Jay Leno, Tonight Show, Monday Sep 16 2013:

Vladimir Putin wrote that America should not view itself as exceptional. I disagree. Hey, Russia, we invented jazz and the elevators it plays in. We’re the geographic sweet spot between frostbite and beheadings. Our roulette is way better than your roulette. And when you rearrange the letters in “Russia” — you get “USA, Sir!”

An Obamacare dissent — ‘...no man who knows what the law is today can guess what it will be tomorrow…’

A letter to Max Baucus

with a nice quote from James Madison

By LESTER D. STILL | 1 comment

Dear Sen. Baucus:

I was pleased to receive your response to my communication regarding health-care reform.

I would like to preface my response with a quote made by James Madison in Federalist Paper 62. Remember him? He was an officer in the Continental Army, a hero of the American Revolution, author of the Bill of Rights and the fourth President of the United States.

He said, “It will be of little avail to the people that the laws are made so voluminous that they cannot be read, or so incoherent that they cannot be understood or revised before they are promulgated, or undergo such incessant changes that no man who knows what the law is today can guess what it will be tomorrow…”

Weathervane Bob Barr

Next years Republican primary in Georgias eleventh congressional district is likely to be a crowded slugfest. The incumbent, GOP representative Phil Gingrey, is running for the states open Senate seat; the Republicans aiming to win his House seat in 2014 include Susan Davis, Allen Levene, state representative Ed Lindsey Jr., state senator Barry Loudermilk, Larry Mrozinski, and Tricia Pridemore.

And then theres former representative Bob Barr, whom you may remember from the Republican Revolution of 1994 . . . or as one of the House managers of the impeachment of Bill Clinton in 1998 . . . or as the Libertarian partys presidential candidate in 2008.

The good news is that whatever you think about the major issues of the day, at some point in the past two decades, Bob Barr agreed with you. The bad news is he may set a record for the most pieces of legislation a congressman voted for and then later renounced.

I don't expect consistency from a politician....But this is a bridge to far.

I did a galloping poll this morning at my local greasy spoon asking people what was in the ACA. (SHOCKING NEWS ALERT!) No one knew what was in the 27,000 page bill & regulations. One of the waitresses pointed out she was pretty sure there all kinds of wonderful goodies hidden away in this.

This is something in OCare I had not heard before. It is from an article in the WaPo today. Not that I care, but found it interesting. http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/wonkblog/wp/2013/09/30/%3Fp%3D63297/?Post+generic=%3Ftid%3Dsm_twitter_washingtonpost

"23. What if I can’t find an affordable plan? Do I still have to buy something?

Nope! Although it’s the government, not you, who gets to decide what counts as “affordable.” The health care law says that if you can’t find a plan that costs less than 8 percent of your income, then you’re exempt from the requirement to purchase health insurance. This will, obviously, depend a lot on an individual’s circumstances and not the sticker price of the plans sold on the new marketplaces."

Of course I being a modern male paid no attention to the fact she's a babe, and if I were a couple of decades younger I'd make a run at her.

if you spotted the sarcasm...you win a cookie

If I remember correctly, (#23-c) calls for at least a donation to either the Democrappic Senate Re-election Fund.....or if you're a racist.......a contribution to the Congressional Black-Hearted Caucus...

@Valin

There's a State Law forbidding patrons from dating waitresses.....and it carries definite jail time, if she is a bartender or waitress in a drinking establishment.....

Plus.....if you're running at her......you're doing it wrong.....and need to make sure it's not a Concealed Carry State....

Obama's son beats store clerk over 41 cents!

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2438391/Man-punches-female-shop-clerk-face-row-41-cents.html

An enraged customer punched a female store clerk in the face after becoming belligerent over only 41 cents.

The customer was trying to pay for a $1.41 cigar at a Lakewood, CA., Conoco gas station earlier this month with just a $1 bill when he became enraged after being told he needed the other 41 cents, causing him to bash the 23-year-old clerk in her face.

I love you all and I object to what was said about the woman who was ridiculed due to her appearance. It's not right to treat a person as less than one.

Sorry @SrWoodchuck, I know that you were joking above wub.png, but it isn't right. Beating is a terrible thing.

I wasn't joking Sweet @saveliberty! I definitely wasn't making fun of the poor clerk.

I was trying to point out [with ridicule] the apparent liberty that some people believe they can take....regarding what they think they are owed by others & society.

It is a coarseness & aggressive entitlement mindset.....that rises to violence & death in some circumstances.....i,e., the "knockout game"...."hit me some peckerwoods"......and black crowd "wilding robbery."

It definitely is no joke & I believe it is essentially condoned & celebrated by Obama, Holder & "white-guilt" liberals, as a way of "evening out" their perceived racial injuries.

Sorry if you took it out of context......I am no misogynist.....and I'm not celebrating her beating, by a thug.

@SrWoodchuck, I would never see you as a misogynist! But it's wrong to tag the violent man to Obama's family, sorry to say so.

Politely disagree, @saveliberty.

It might have been true, if he hadn't inserted himself...endlessly......as an example for perceived injury to "his people." Barack Hussein Soetoro Obama has purposely fractured the racial harmony in this country & used himself or faux relatives to advertise his agenda. To not make it a point, is to acquiesce to his twisted plans for the American Republic.

I may be faulted for not "turning the other cheek" but I've run out of cheeks with him & Obamunists.

Anything less is mind-numbing masochism.
