WestVirginiaRebel
The Hill: The Republican chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee is promising to “ramp up” his investigation of the IRS. Rep. Dave Camp (R-Mich.) said the former head of the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) revealed a culture of “arrogance” within the agency during his testimony before the powerful Ways and Means panel on Friday. “I think an arrogance at the IRS came across in bright colors and that was very disconcerting to all of us,” said Camp in an interview with Fox News on Friday. “So now, we're not going to stop until we get all the answers that we need to get because, clearly, when we were trying to ask those before, they weren't forthcoming. And we're going to get to the bottom of this.” Camp — along with House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chairman Darrell Issa (R-Calif.) — is in the beginning stages of investigating the IRS, which has come under heavy fire this week after confirming that it gave extra scrutiny to conservative groups seeking tax-exempt status. ________ Digging deeper into a pile of manure...
