9/11 Trutherism Invades America's Schools

Education: Trutherism, the bizarre belief the U.S. itself was somehow behind the 9/11 attacks, used to be a phenomenon found only on the fringes of the far left. Today, it's taught in public schools. The crackpots are in control.

In Corpus Christi, Texas, Kara Sands noticed a question on her son's fifth-grade test he'd correctly answered as he had undoubtedly been taught: "Why might the United States be the target of terrorism?"

Possible answers were: (A) Other people just don't like Americans; ( Decisions we made in the United States have had negative effects on people elsewhere; © Terrorists hate everyone; (D) None of the above.

The "correct" answer was (, yet any one of those other answers would have been closer to the truth.

Well, not anymore.
