October 3, 2012 — The Night Liberalism Died

October 3, 2012 - 10:44 pm - by Roger L Simon

It was a bad twentieth wedding anniversary night for Barack and Michelle Obama. Twenty-five should be better. No irritating debates to deal with. It won’t even be an election year. Maybe they can celebrate with a Mai Tai or two in their new beachfront home on Oahu.

All the networks agreed last night, even the court eunuchs on MSNBC, as did the polls and the focus groups, that Romney won the debate. Obama looked like a warmed-over version of Richard Nixon, shifty and evasive in his answers. But Nixon was always infinitely more prepared than our current president and considerably more informed.

The fuddy-duddy liberal choir of the mainstream media looked shell-shocked. But secretly some of them may actually be relieved. Anyone with an IQ in triple digits knows that Romney would be a better president than Obama with the country and the world in the situation they are. And that probably includes Obama himself, considering the level at which he debated. Scissors-32x32.png

W have been trying to kill liberalism for all of my life. It just doesn't die. We blast it back into the corner, but the slimeballs in the universities, along with the scum in the MSM keep indocrinating another generation and here we go again!

That being said, it was a very good night.+

Liberalism isn't dead, it can never die in any democratically formed government. Liberalism just has an inept spokesman this time around who sounds great as long as the speech writers and the teleprompter are the real messengers.

A few years ago we heard that Reaganism was dead, a message that helped to spark the Tea Party movement. When McCain lost to The "o" we heard that conservatism is dead, and today after 3 plus years of this pResident, for the first time in history more people identify themselves as conservative than liberal. It all just goes in cycles.
