Rokke
AP: The tour host and superintendent of the Newtown Creek Wastewater treatment plant in Brooklyn tells the Daily News ( http://nydn.us/xEFu6I ) it'll be a unique date, and one that special someone will never forget. Jim Pynn says the highlight of the tour will be the plant's giant egg-shaped digesters, which break down the noxious waste into harmless sludge and gas. Pynn says each Valentine's Day visitor will get a Hershey kiss - and at least something to talk about
Rokke
Let me get this straight...the giant egg shaped digesters break raw sewage down into sludge and gas. Does anything really change? Reminds me of the old saying "garbage in...garbage out". Anyway, Snoozen has no idea I got her this little gift for Feb 14. I like to surprise her with something different every year. I might try flushing something a little unique down the commode before we go, just to see if we can see it floating around when we get there.
