Eyewitness Paul Wilkinson, president of the Altamont Park Neighborhood Association, wrote the following account in the Peoria Chronicle:

Tonight, around 11 p.m., a group of at least 60-70 African American youth marched down one of the side streets (W. Thrush) to the 4 lane main drag (Sheridan). They were yelling threats to white residents. Things such as we need to kill alll the white people around here. They were physically intimidating anyone calling for help from the police. They were surrounding cars. Cars on the main drag had to slam on their brakes to either avoid the youth blocking not only all four lanes, but a large section of the side street as well. fights were breaking out among them. They were rushing residents who looked out their doors, going on to porches, yelling threats to people calling the police for help.

These young people watch the same TV as all of us. They are grabbing for a symbol of the American dream. Given opportunity for a job, they could have these symbols legitimately, but not as long as they are being held back by a political establishment that is too intent on its own status. These ultra-liberals are crushing the American dream in their misguided drive to give us a European socialist utopia. The Chicago streets are not the only place with robbing going on. Obama is stealing their dreams and their future.

It is the fear induced by such events that paralyzes Congress from challenging Obama and the subsequent inaction by authorities that is further degrading the rule of law.
Obama and his followers know this and will use every means possible to intimidate the opposition and sway the 2012 election in his direction.

I saw a footage from a vegas conv. store a few weeks ago from some news search. About 30 "kids" walk in and out several times each loading up on life's critical food stuffs, ...ok beer. No attempt to hide faces and laughing the whole time.

This is what happens when the victims of our evil society are ignored too long.

 

It's only natural that they attempt to repatriate their basic human rights that they've been denied.

 

Their targets are corporately guilty and deserve what they get.

 

The flash mob in the Sears was a great example of justice in action... only they stopped too quickly without a real pound of flesh.

 

The righteous media has rightly been color blind in their reporting. There's nothing to see there folks. Keep moving.

The author must be one of those terribly low brow and exceedingly racist conservatives. Did you notice how he just had to single out "The Black Panthers". I mean really- just because 2 people in one voting precinct were set up by Fox in a sting operation in order to cast aspersions on black voters was so stereotypical of how the far right lies.

Actually I would bring our first post racial president to reason with them... no matter their "stripe".

Oh fer cyin' out loud. it always has to be someone else's "fault", doesn't it? These flash mobs are just looters that use new technology. What they do is to get out an ipod (probably previously stolen) and text other thugs to meet them at some spot at the same time. Then they shock and overwhelm, steal, and scatter. They should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law, videocameras usually capture them. And, yes they are always young and black, as politically incorrect as that sounds.

 

What to do about them? They like cities and their closer-in suburbs, often those that are "gun-free zones".
