Casino67
Powerline.com:Posted by Steven Hayward at 6:28 PMI managed to slip away from business long enough mid-day Friday in Madison to visit the capitol in the daylight, and capture the scene inside at the moment Governor Walker signed the bill eliminating collective bargaining for some classes of Wisconsin public employees. Below is another quickly-edited, four-minute highlight reel. The scene is really rather feeble, as you will see, but nonetheless conveys the infantilism of the modern left. This time I offer some voice-over commentary of my own, but couldn't resist calling in reinforcements from Monty Python on a couple of points. The old saying "It's all over but the shouting" almost doesn't apply, since the shouting going on is so lame.
NCTexan
Thanks for posting... this takes lame to a new dimension. Anyway, the woman at the end was lying about having Republican friends... it's stretches the imagination to believe that she has friends of any flavor. Saltbag
I couldn't make it through the whole thing. How did she not clear out the capital? The Monty Python interjection was perfect, though.

Anyway, the woman at the end was lying about having Republican friends... it's stretches the imagination to believe that she has friends of any flavor. Honestly, this lady may be a very nice lady under normal circumstances. But she is worked into a froth and frustrated by what she sees as a personal attack on her. She feels helpless and is gasping at straws trying to retain the life she knows. She may have Republican friends. Just like I have liberal friends. But when you are confronted by a friend who is that level of angry face-to-face, you tend to nod your head a lot politely and hope it goes away. The angry person projects how they are feeling onto their target and takes the silence as agreement. Once someone starts to say "even his allies hate him and we all agree he is the devil" you have lost the argument on facts and have devolved into pure blinding anger and emotion. I don't doubt there are Republicans that will vote against him because of this. And I don't doubt there are many others who will vote for him because of this. I respect your optimistic view on this woman. She may be a great person, but she's deluded. The life she's grasping to retain is one of entitlement. Non-productive, killing our country, entitlement. We need to privatize these state union functions.

They cloud our judgement...all of us. And I wouldn't say she is a great person, but she's probably a nice one when not overcome with hysteria. Casino67
I think she just wanted her 'Norma Rae' moment. BruceTheOld To a conservative, a "right" is a type of liberty, but liberal rights are always in the form of expectations. 19 minutes ago via Twitter for Android
Geee
On the local Milwaukee news this morning I heard that Governor Walkers approval rating with Republicans were in the 90's. Disapproval with the Dems was in the 90's and approval rating with Indy's I think was 53. I didn't think that was bad for all the negative publicity that he has gotten over the past few weeks, especially with all the money that the unions have put in ads against him. I think yesterday's mob welcoming their 'heroes' back to the state was about 85,000. This is sick. Treating this numskulls who were interfering with the actual process of law as heroes. The unions are now sending piles of money here to back the recall efforts against the real heroes who stayed here and did their jobs in spite of death threats, being spat upon and screamed at. Casino67
I think what the unions are so pissed about, is that the government is not now required to withhold the dues from the paychecks. The union will have to depend on members to send in their dues. Wait until they start receiving fewer and fewer checks each month. Plus they will have to increase the number of people they have to process the new procedures that will be necessary. Someone will have to write all of those letters saying 'you are behind six months in your dues.' It always boils down to the money the unions receive. Obambi's biggest failure(there are too many to include in this short post), was his, Pelosi, and Reid's inability to ram Card-Check down our throats. Methinks it will come back to haunt Obambi and the RATS next year.

Did the MSM challenge any of the DB's misinformation at his presser the other day? Palin tweeted: SarahPalinUSA Is MSM just awestruck? Is that explanation for ignoring his claims? MT@dcexaminer: WH claims fail/Hugh Hewitt http://bit.ly/dERcdS Thanks for the HH link, Casino67! This is an area that will be more in focus, as we have no new American oil production, Gaddafi & Libyan revolution imperil a large amount of Europe's oil......and Japan struggles to rebuild quake & tsunami destruction & oil refining capacity, while necessarily purchasing more refined oil [gas & diesel] on the open market. $ 5.00 in the next few months here in Colorado, is seeming very likely [$ 3.20 to $3.50 now] with another huge jump in any prices of goods & services tied to our economy.
