If he had, we are confident that you would not be listed among his largestcontributors. As such, we are contacting you now to request your support.The undersigned groups would like your company to publicly oppose GovernorWalker’s efforts to virtually eliminate collective bargaining for public employees inWisconsin. While we appreciate that you may need some time to consider thisrequest, we ask for your response by March 17. In the event that you do notrespond to this request by that date, we will assume that you stand withGovernor Walker and against the teachers, nurses, police officers, fire fighters,and other dedicated public employees who serve our communities.In the event that you cannot support this effort to save collective bargaining,please be advised that the undersigned will publicly and formally boycott thegoods and services provided by your company. Argyle58 Posted March 11, 2011 Share Posted March 11, 2011 I would like to point out that police and firefighters are exempt from the provisions in the bill that limits collective bargaining, and only 10% of the nurses in Wisconsin work for the government, the bill doesn't address those nurses who work for private sector healthcare facilities. I find it ironic that those that are making the most noise about this issue are mostly with the same groups that were all for salary caps for corporate executives a mere 18 months ago. Dear Mr. Sykes, Many thanks for your "heads up" and notice of threat to our corporation's property & workers. We reserve the right to use whatever force is deemed necessary, to protect our employee's & property. Should anything unfortunate happen to either, regardless of whether you are personally involved; we will institute action against you [personally] and your union, without regard to legal costs & using your notice as 'prima facie' evidence that your actions were pre-meditated. Please be assured also, that law enforcement authorities have been notified of your threat; and that our security has been enhanced with both electronic, video and armed/trained guards, instructed to prevent any harm to our company & it's workers at all costs. We are also taking the opportunity to issue this injunction, provided by the courts, that forbids you, your union or designees, from entering our company property or conducting business within 100 feet of our property (your copy included & serves as our notice.)Have a great day!
