Hartford Courant:

Roger Catlin

She lost the vice presidency and quit the governorship, but Sarah Palin can count herself as a winner as her one-season reality travelogue "Sarah Palin's Alaska" was named worst reality show from the Hollywood Temp Diaries, bumping last year's winner "Jersey Shore" as well as such deserving nominees as "Bridalplasty," "Bad Girls Club" and "16 and Pregnant." snip

It is good that a totally unbiased opinion is offered. :)

No, Bama Belles deserves that title. Any other results and it is a rigged poll

:D

And yes, I still like Sarah Palin.

Courant definitions:

A horizontal movement of water. A running animal on a coat of arms [horizontal & all legs out.] A french running dance step. A piece of music in triple time. A circulating gazette of news: a newspaper [from the old Dutch.]

Hartford Courant: An allusion to a newspaper that is up to date on current events.....from the french "au courant." Also Hartfords largest newspaper, and once advertised as the nation's oldest [1794] & owned [since 2000] by Tribune Company, which also publishes two other bastions of newspaper integrity: the Chicago Tribune & The Los Angeles Times.

Roger Catlin: Rock critic for 12 years, now on a board of TV critics & writing for the Hartford Courant

Straight reporting. #30#

Now for some opinion: I still like Sarah Palin. I think her show is OK & even better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick. That just my opinion as one of the Alpaca's in this Click.

Check the second link in the first post: http://www.tempdiaries.com/2011/02/bennie-awards.html

He's just reporting what he read elsewhere.

And here's yet another link: http://www.channelguidemagblog.com/index.php/2011/02/22/sarah-palin-beats-snooki-as-worst-female-reality-star-at-lighthearted-bennie-awards/

The real blame for bias belongs to The Hollywood Temp Diaries.

EveningStar!

........or the meme & continuing echo of slanted journalism.....but I take your point.....he's a lazy propagandist!

BTW: I did click both links.....and noted that he was summarizing from the Temps/Bennie's, and it made me wonder if he was mailing in his rock reviews for 12 years & if that's one of the reasons he's now a TV "critic."

If you want people [other than progressive haters] to pay attention to a Sarah Palin slam....at least get your own new material......like her old campaign flunkie, who's written his "au courant" expose of her.....for as much as he could possibly get.<------Apparently one of America's newest & best growth industries.

I take comfort in the fact that Bama Belles would have made it as the worst, but TLC / BBC already canceled.

BTW, research shows that Palin threatens certain types of men.

Pepper!

Nice link.

Here in the mild, mild west......some guys [me] appreciate a woman that can shoot straight, and hit the 10-ring. Kind of "baby got back.....mine!" I like 'em like that..... back to back & front to front.

If she shoots game before you......you gotta cook it up in da pan....and she hates whiners. I'm not threatened by a sexy accomplished woman......I married one. I like that Sarah is all that & takes care of her family. It speaks of frontier women that made America great, even without getting citations in important history books. It's all good.

Edited to change one small letter in one small word to make everything look just right, and..

.....to say I saw your last post EveningStar & along with Nickydog....I salute you!

I'm married to a strong, stable lady and I don't feel threatened at all. In fact, I take great comfort in it.

Good for you! :) This whole thing is interesting, but predictable.

I wish Hollywood was more creative, classier and understood their audience better. I liked and related to the show in many areas and clearly I was not alone. But Palin still isn't my first choice for President, and she still isn't running, and she still drives people nuts, and I still don't get why the left is so crazily obsessed with her. Don't like her. Fine. Don't like her show. Fine. Don't want to hear about her anymore...quit talking about her!

Seems pretty straightforward to me!

I still go back and forth whether her continued trashing is a function of a continued fear of her as politically viable in the MSM, or the unlimited resources of the MSM to just keep trashing her into oblivion to portray the Tea Party as a joke. I'm leaning more towards "distraction" at this point, with state level people stepping up.

My suspicion is that they think that if they can identify all Republicans as being like Sarah Palin and the Tea Party folks, independents will think they are crazy and side with them.

Unfortunately for that plan though...if you're picking between Palin/Tea Partiers and the Union Thugs...they don't win.

I just don't think she is going to matter all that much in the end.

Good for you. No insult intended towards you with the link. The MSM seems to take a delight in tearing down strong conservative women was my observation.

PS I am looking for a strong lady and a sturdy stable.

She might not personally matter as a serious political figure as far as being Presidential, but she has mattered as an inspiration for others to step up to the plate. I can't deny her that. The conservative movement still needs a leader with inspiring Presidential quality that's actually willing to run.

Absolutely. And well said.
