POLITICO:

Presidents Teddy Roosevelt, Ronald Reagan and George W. Bush all worked to cultivate “cowboy president” images — but is the country ready for a President Cowboy?

At least one man says yes.

You’ve probably heard of the “Naked Cowboy” (aka Robert Burck) who strolls around Times Square daily in his underwear, holding a guitar. If he gets his way, he'd like you to know him as President Burck one day.

After reading Ayn Rand and determining that the size of the federal government had swelled under Obama, he texted his manager and said, "Hey, let's run for president."

So, what are his political views?

"I'm definitely conservative by nature. I believe in limited government, I am by nature an entrepreneur and a small businessman, and I've been very successful with that. All the things that are conservative, I am by nature, and I see this country as going kind of in the opposite direction of that — so I'm available."

During POLITICO's interview with Burck, he opened up on such topics as ...

... Sarah Palin and her chances in 2012.

... why people assume he's liberal.

... whether he'd ditch his Naked Cowboy act if he moved into 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.
