Those Republicans aren't done giving our president a shellacking, and now the Washington media is urging him to reveal his "feelings," hoping he'll squirt a few tears for the cameras.

So there's only one thing for President Barack Obama to do:

Quit.

Yes, quit. Obama should return from India — after paying that whopping Taj Mahal Palace hotel bill for his entourage out of his own pocket — and resign the presidency immediately.
Then he can come home and do something truly productive.

Like run for mayor of Chicago.

I'm not kidding. After two years as president, Obama finally has some executive experience, which now qualifies him for the mayor's job.

In Washington, Obama's "cap and trade" policy got him into trouble. It's an intricate system of taxes, allowing Wall Street insiders to get rich trading "carbon credits," while the rest of us are forced to read under the feeble light of a 5-watt bulb.

 

In Chicago, "cap and trade" isn't complicated. Every politician knows that if you go into "trade" with the Chicago Outfit and then break your deal, you'll probably get "capped."
