Casino67
SeattleBizJournal:Dr. Charles Krauthammer, Pulitzer Prize-winning columnist, political commentator and physician, is in the Seattle area to keynote the Washington Policy Center’s annual dinner Oct. 6, an event that sold out in early September. It's Krauthammer’s first trip to Seattle.Hours before the evening event at the Hyatt Regency Bellevue, the conservative Krauthammer was front and center at a small, private lunch at Seattle’s Rainier Club. During lunch he made no formal remarks, but answered questions from the group gathered to meet him. Each guest was asked to give his or her name and a brief bio before asking a question. Some were amusing: L. Pat Hughes, chairman and CEO of several companies, including APE (American Pile Driving Equipment), said, “My name is Pat Hughes. We make pile driving equipment — a kind of an impulse item, if you happen to need one!” Vic Odermat, founder and head of CWE Car Wash Enterprises, one of the largest car wash companies in the country, said simply, “I’m Vic Odermat and I wash cars.”
Rheo
Ha. Asked if he would run for president of the United States, Krauthammer had a fast comeback: “If nominated I will not run. If elected I will serve.”
