Geee
The Hill:Former President George W. Bush will travel to Haiti on Tuesday to observe rebuilding efforts in the wake of the massive earthquake earlier this year. Bush will travel the stricken nation as part of his work with the Clinton Bush Haiti Fund, the relief organization for which Bush and former President Clinton were tapped to lead by President Obama. Bush will visit Haiti "to witness the rebuilding efforts firsthand, meet with Haitians about their immediate needs and future hopes and visit with organizations that are assisting in the rebuilding effort with support from the Clinton Bush Haiti Fund," according to a statement on the trip. Bush has kept a rather low profile save for his work on Haiti since leaving the Oval Office. His public profile is only set to increase as 2010 wears on, though, as Democrats invoke him in the fall's elections and as he prepares to release his memoir a week after Election Day.
