GOP can't rest until November

Michael Steele is telling members of the Republican National Committee that the GOP can't rest between now and November even though conditions seem ripe for big gains.

The RNC chairman told the rank and file Friday that the GOP needs to ramp up its effort over the next three months.
Steele says the journey to this point hasn't been easy and the road ahead will test the party's resolve and ability to remain united.

He is recalling that two years ago there was talk that Republicans were a demoralized party. He says that Republicans are now "a legion of effective shock troops who are on the offense and making Democrats sweat."
