Valin Posted July 16, 2010 Share Posted July 16, 2010 WNYC: Ailsa Chang7/15/10Disbarred civil rights lawyer Lynne Stewart has been resentenced to 10 years in prison for helping a convicted terrorist communicate with his violent followers in Egypt.Manhattan federal judge John Koeltl lengthened Stewart's 28-month sentence after determining she lied during her 2005 trial and lacked remorse after her first sentencing.Stewart represented Sheik Omar Abdel Rahman when he was serving a life sentence for plotting to blow up New York landmarks.
