Yahoo News:

WASHINGTON – Republican Sen. Olympia Snowe of Maine says she will vote to overhaul financial regulations, pushing the legislation to the verge of final passage and a victory for President Barack Obama.

Snowe becomes the third Republican to announce support for the bill, almost guaranteeing 60 votes to overcome procedural obstacles to the legislation. Democratic Sen. Ben Nelson of Nebraska said Monday he was still reviewing the bill.

Nelson voted for an earlier Senate version of the legislation. Without him, Democrats would have to wait for West Virginia Gov. Joe Manchin, who is a Democrat, to fill the vacancy created by the death of Sen. Robert Byrd.

Manchin said he would make an appointment as early as Friday.

Obamacare didn't need no stinkin' 60 votes.

Am convinced the MSM is more harmful to life and liberty than the Marxists.

I guess that you'd have to say that Brown is slightly better than Teddy Kennedy... but that's about all you can say about what we've see so far.

Saveliberty! I hope that you and your folks don't drink out of the public water supply. There definitely is something bad infecting folks up your way.

I don't have the URL for the site, but go to Brown's Facebook page and read some of the comments from his 'friends'. It would appear that he will be looking for another job in five years.

All I have to say is that Brown is a better alternative than Coakly, but I'm starting to get sick and tired of rhetoric. I will be happy to get back to gridlock......that means congress cannot not agree on how to further intrude on our lives and our pocket books, no laws get passed, only politicians get hurt.

IIRC, he has to run again in 2012.
