WWMT.com:

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - President George W Bush was in West Michigan Wednesday night and he discussed waterboarding and the war in Iraq during a speech to the Economic Club of Grand Rapids.

Bush defended his decision to invade Iraq in 2003, saying taking Saddam Hussein out of power was the right thing to do and that the world is a better place without him.

The former president also stood by the decision to waterboard Khalid Sheik Mohammed, the self-professed mastermind of the September 11th attacks.

Bush said he would quote "do it again to save American lives.”

Hot Air has more. I didn't necessarily agree with waterboarding, but at least Bush isn't afraid to stand by his beliefs. That's the mark of leadership-not hiding behind your press secretary while blaming others for your failings.
