Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) announced on Tuesday that the House will proceed with an impeachment inquiry against President Joe Biden.

“I am directing our House committees to open a formal impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden. Over the past several months, House Republicans have uncovered serious and credible allegations into President Biden’s conduct — a culture of corruption,” he said in a post to

In brief remarks at the U.S. Capitol, McCarthy said the impeachment inquiry will be led by Oversight Chairman James Comer (R-KY) “in coordination with” Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH) and Ways and Means Chairman Jason Smith (R-MO).

The announcement indicates a change of plans for McCarthy, who recently told Breitbart News that the House moving forward with an impeachment inquiry would be done with a floor vote, which was not guaranteed as some Republican members have expressed skepticism about the effort.

*Every grand jury should be a “runaway.” The jurors should take it into their own hands and find out for themselves what charges should be considered at trial. They should favor returning a broad indictment that encompasses nearly all offenses that matter.

* Every Grand Jury?

It seem to me Mr. Anthony does not have a goo handle on how grand juries work.

Key Testimony Alleges Biden Met With With Son’s Business Partner, Kazakh Bank Official
Brandon Drey
Sep 14, 2023

Former Vice President Joe Biden allegedly discussed expanding overseas business deals in Kazakhstan with Hunter Biden, former Burisma board member Devon Archer, and an international banker during an in-person meeting at his Washington, D.C., mansion in 2015.

Archer, who testified behind closed doors in front of the House Oversight Committee in July, claimed Biden was on speakerphone with his son during more than 20 calls relating to foreign business deals dating back to 2014. But in this particular case, Archer said he met with the Bidens for an exclusive breakfast meeting at the U.S. Naval Observatory adjacent to the White House with Marc Holtzman, chairman of Kazakhstan’s largest bank, Kazkommertsbank.

The discussion revolved around Holtzman lobbying then-Vice President Biden to use his influence to help then-Kazakhstan Prime Minister Karim Massimov — who is currently serving 18 years in a Kazakhstan jail after authorities convicted him of high treason and other crimes — to be Secretary-General of the United Nations, according to Archer.

As I see it going down no way to get it passed in the upper chamber. waste of time and money, even though  I firmly believe he is a crook as his son is.

Another R Representative resigned today leaving the House with only a 3 margin. That could be tough too. The three Senators with guts(there may be more, but these have been vocal) are Cruz, Kennedy and Johnson. Maybe more will join in if the House brings out enough slime to make it unavoidable. Fingers crossed, but as usual, not holding my breath.

Vindicated Ken Paxton blames Biden and Texas House for 'sham impeachment'
Anna Giaritelli, Homeland Security Reporter
September 16, 2023

AUSTIN, Texas — Vindicated Attorney General Ken Paxton lambasted the Biden administration and the Texas House for forcing a "sham impeachment" trial following his acquittal on all 16 counts.

"Today, the truth prevailed. The truth could not be buried by mudslinging politicians or their powerful benefactors. I’ve said many times: Seek the truth! And that is what was accomplished," Paxton said in a statement posted to X, formerly known as Twitter.

(Snip)

"The sham impeachment coordinated by the Biden administration with liberal House Speaker Dade Phelan and his kangaroo court has cost taxpayers millions of dollars, disrupted the work of the Office of the Attorney General, and left a dark and permanent stain on the Texas House," Paxton said. "The weaponization of the impeachment process to settle political differences is not only wrong, it is immoral and corrupt."

(Snip)

"I can promise the Biden administration the following: Buckle up because your lawless politics will not go unchallenged," Paxton said. "We will not allow you to shred the constitution and infringe on the rights of Texans. You will be held accountable."
