WestVirginiaRebel
Washington Examiner The Republican National Committee has selected Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to host the 2024 Republican National Convention. All 168 RNC committee members unanimously voted for the Midwestern city to host the GOP's 2024 presidential nominating convention, as Republicans hope to win back the battleground state after Joe Biden pulled off a victory there in 2020 by more than 20,000 votes. NASHVILLE REJECTS 2024 GOP CONVENTION BID, CLEARING WAY FOR MILWAUKEE "Milwaukee is a world-class city, and we are eager to see it shine in the spotlight come 2024," said RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel in a statement. The choice was narrowed down between Milwaukee and Nashville, Tennessee; however, the Nashville Metro Council voted against approving a draft agreement to host the event earlier this week, dwindling the city's chances of being selected. Twenty-two council members voted against the draft agreement, 10 members voted in its favor, and three abstained. Meanwhile, Milwaukee's city government approved its draft resolution in June. ________ Milwaukee? Are they nuts???
