A school board in the Twin Cities area has passed a resolution forcing the district to go all-in on “policies, practices, and curricula” that “protect and affirm” the “LGBTQIA+” agenda.

At its meeting Tuesday evening, the Osseo Area School District Board of Education voted 4-2 in favor of its resolution to “acknowledge the value of the lives of our trans, lesbian, gay, bi-sexual, queer, intersex, two-spirit, asexual, nonbinary, and gender-expansive scholars and staff.”

Several community members and parents showed up at the board meeting to voice their concerns.

“Here we are tonight with a resolution about to be presented that involves bringing new curriculum and content into classrooms without going into the details of what the curriculum and content will contain,” said one parent who was concerned about the board’s lack of transparency.

Others spoke passionately in support of the resolution, criticizing their opponents for using the “God argument.”

“Suicide rates among trans children are astronomical, and it’s because of the people who stand up here and use the Bible and use God as a weapon,” one speaker said. “Anybody looking to oppose this, anybody who’s going to vote against it, you should be ashamed. I have one word: resign.”

Remember when Same Sex Marriage & Gay Rights were being debated? Recall how some "Extremest", were concerned that They (Gay Rights Advocates) would be "coming after out children"?

In the previous episode of the New Discourses Podcast (https://youtu.be/tDEP0JGW3c8), James Lindsay revealed the long history of the problem of Groomer Schools, and horrible as it is, it barely communicates just how bad things really are. In this follow-up episode, Lindsay reads through an academic paper at the intersection of early childhood education and Queer Theory, two subjects that should never be mixed. The 2019 paper is called "Queer futurity and childhood innocence: Beyond the injury of development" by Hannah Dyer of Carleton University, Canada. In this episode of the podcast, James reads through this paper in full, offering his usual level of commentary and revealing just how insidious and dangerous the agenda in the public schools is (Critical Race Theory is, honestly, among the least of our problems, if you can believe it). Join him and prepare to be appalled at what the Critical Marxists who have taken over our education system have in mind for our children.

Since last August, Hastings Public Schools has only allowed community feedback during closed “listening sessions,” not during actual board meetings, hence the use of homemade signs to protest the book.

According to district procedure: “To be recognized, citizens must sign up on the listening session document no later than 5:40 pm, on the day of the corresponding board meeting. Speakers must provide, on the document, their name, address, topic to which they are speaking, and their relationship to the district. Speakers may provide email addresses and phone numbers, if they choose.”
