DeSantis: Disney bringing 'California values' to Florida in objecting to parental rights bill

The Walt Disney Company said it hopes to see the law repealed or struck down

After the Walt Disney Company criticized the passage of the Parental Rights in Education law in the state of Florida, Gov. Ron DeSantis told Fox News its executives are trying to inject their "California values" into the more moderate Sunshine State.

DeSantis joined "Tucker Carlson Tonight" to react after the Burbank, Calif.-based entertainment corporation – which owns the iconic theme parks in Florida – profusely objected to the law.

The law prohibits Florida educators from teaching about sexual orientation or gender identity in kindergarten through third grade, with a provision that enables parents to sue if they allege schools or instructors have been in violation.:snip:

Disney Admits It Wants to Queer Your Kids

:snip:

Disney has been trying to queer children for a long time. A senior Disney executive brags about that to her colleagues! Stop being gaslighted, mom and dad. Disney is the enemy of your family and your children.

To hell with woke capitalism! A Republican Party that is willing to fight Big Business on behalf of families and ordinary people could get somewhere in this country.

You watch: none of this will be reported by the mainstream media, whose position is, “Claims that Disney is queering America’s children are bigoted conservative dogwhistles — and it’s a good thing Disney is doing it!”

UPDATE: Groomers. They are all groomers. Why do some of the richest and most powerful people in America, executives of a company that has unparalleled access to the imaginations of America’s children, care so much about the sexuality of kids? It’s creepy. It’s demonic. This is happening right now in our country. You are foolish and cowardly if you minimize it for the sake of avoiding conflict.:snip:

Megyn Kelly Goes Off On Disney After ‘Gay Agenda’ Video Leak

:snip:

“So Disney and she have apparently made clear that they are going to be putting as many LGBTQIA+ in as many Disney movies as possible,” Kelly began. “That they want these characters to become ubiquitous in the Disney movies, and I think that is totally unnecessary and out of line. I don’t want you to work out your wokeism on my kid, okay? Do a movie that teaches tolerance, kindness, support for your fellow human beings.”

“Don’t shove two-spirit people, which by the way is not a thing, and pansexual—I had to look it up, you know what that means? It means you’re attracted to everybody. So you’re bi, I guess. That’s not a thing; that’s already a thing; they already have a letter. I’m sorry, but please, all these glommers who just want attention, it’s a new thing!”:snip:

:snip:“Beware, you beware. Don’t put a Disney movie on in front of your kid before you fully come to understand what it’s going to be promoting, who it’s going to be starring and what agenda they’re pushing. They’re no longer the Disney of yesterday,” she concluded:snip:

'Silent majority' of Disney employees support Florida law, Disney employee running for Congress says

Jose Castillo, a current Walt Disney Company employee who is running for Congress in Florida as a Republican, told Fox News Digital that the "silent majority" of Disney employees support the parental rights law H.B. 1557, despite the loud minority leading Disney to take a stance against the law, which critics have branded the "Don't Say Gay" law.

"There is immense pressure to toe the company line," Castillo told Fox News Digital. "However, the reality is that those drawing attention to this issue are in the minority. The Disney cast members who support the parental rights defended by HB 1557 far outnumber those who are protesting against it."

Castillo claimed that "Disney and similar corporations listen to the loudest voices in the crowd," even though the "silent majority" of employees disagree. "That is why I am standing up for our shared conservative values; to show other conservative cast members like me that we need to speak up and stand strong.":snip:

'Don't Say Gay' Bill Is Hurting Republicans. Here's Proof

Frances Langum

March 31, 2022

At long last, Democrats are on offense when it comes to messaging.

"Don't Say Gay" has quite a ring to it. And it's working.

You can tell it's working because the panel on Gutfeld last night took major pains to attempt wrangling DeSantis's totally unnecessary bigot bill out of the "Don't Say Gay" nomenclature.

(Snip)

____________________________________________________

Let me see if I understand this. The Left called the Bill ""Don't Say Gay" Bill, then when The Right points out the bill really has nothing to do with being Gay, we're the stupid ones. Do I have that correct?

Swimming Against the Tide, Disney Takes Wokeness to a New Level

If you thought that “woke” culture couldn’t get worse, think again. In public and behind the scenes, The Walt Disney Company is taking wokeness to a whole new level, threatening millions of children with political propaganda.

First, there was Disney CEO Bob Chapek criticizing Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis over HB 1557, which reaffirms parental rights in education and prevents educators from injecting personal political views into early childhood learning. (And, yes, you can still “say gay” in Florida.) Then, there was Vivian Ware, Disney’s diversity and inclusion manager, promoting transgenderism and pansexuality in Disney content. The entertainment company is now removing all mentions of traditional gender roles – boys and girls, men and women – at theme parks.

While Disney’s wokeness is hardly new and unfortunately not surprising, the company’s resonance among America’s youth makes it deeply disturbing nonetheless. Unlike many other woke companies, Disney reaches tens of millions of U.S. children. Half of American homes with kids under 10 years old pay for a Disney+ subscription, and Disney hopes to increase its global paid subscriptions to 350 million by 2024.

The content that Disney creates today will indoctrinate young consumers tomorrow. It will shape their hearts and minds, insidiously molding children to embrace liberal politics with subtle and not-so-subtle messaging. Wokeness will be passed on to future generations. And it may become more radical over time.

However, there is a bright side. The bright side is people – individual consumers making their own decisions. People will eventually recognize Disney for the political entity it has become and reject the company’s blatant propaganda. Fringe concepts like transgenderism and pansexuality may be important to left-wing consumers, but they are not priorities for the overwhelming majority of American customers. Disney is shrinking its market share – perhaps unknowingly and perhaps not yet, but the company’s audience will shrink.:snip:

Dozens Of Disney Employees Have Been Arrested For Child Sex Crimes. What's really behind Disney's opposition to Florida's 'Don't Say Gay' Bill?

Amidst Disney’s opposition to Florida’s falsely monikered “Don’t Say Gay” bill – which aims to protect children from exposure to harmful gender ideologies and activism – the company’s long history of employing individuals arrested for a variety of child sex crimes has come under scrutiny.:snip:
