US delivers medical supplies and ventilators to coronavirus-stricken Russia

An Air Force plane laden with medical supplies arrived in Russia, which is one of the world's biggest coronavirus hot spots. 

 

Among the aid delivered on Thursday were 50 ventilators to help the country, which has the second-highest number of confirmed COVID-19 cases. An additional 150 U.S.-made ventilators will be delivered to Russia next week, U.S. Ambassador John Sullivan said. In total, some $5.6 million worth of medical aid is set to be delivered to Moscow, according to a Reuters report
