Geee
Red Stzte Recalling his business career in private equity and hiring for staff positions in Massachusetts state government, Romney recalled. “All of the applicants seem to be men. And I said, ‘Well, gosh, can’t we find some women who are also qualified?'” before adding that he “went to a number of women’s groups, and I said, ‘Can you help us find folks?’ And they brought us binders full of women.” Those remarks were quickly mocked on social media, and some analysts said the remarks contributed to losing the female vote to President Barack Obama that November, along with the White House. OMG! Binders of women! That fiend! How dare he! One of the most ridiculous, media-jacked up “stories” ever. So now media, applying the same standard, should be upset with what Joe Biden has said about his VP picks, right? According to the New York Times, Biden is looking at this potential candidates through the lense of a “calendar model” pick. In private encounters before this campaign, Mr. Biden has likened running-mate evaluation to deciding among calendar models, with three broad categories (and outdated honorifics): Contenders can be a “Mr. August” (a shot of momentum in the summer), a “Mr. October” (a reliable and effective campaigner for the fall) or a “Mr. January” (a governing partner, politics notwithstanding). Wow. Imagine if President Donald Trump had said this.
