Obama takes veiled shot at Trump for approach to coronavirus and ties crisis to climate change

Former President Barack Obama took to Twitter on Tuesday to make a veiled criticism of President Trump for his position on climate change and linked it to the current spread of the coronavirus. 

 

“We've seen all too terribly the consequences of those who denied warnings of a pandemic,” Obama posted along with a Los Angeles Times article about the Environmental Protection Agency issuing new fuel efficiency standards. “We can't afford any more consequences of climate denial. All of us, especially young people, have to demand better of our government at every level and vote this fall.”
